A Minecraft fan shares their unique strategy of traversing The End biome which may be helpful for players working with limited resources.
Reddit user ChakaCausey recently shared a clip showcasing their Maya-inspired temple. The temple is surrounded by Diorite, Stone, and Granite, which are part of a mountain that they used as a foundation after blowing it up with Minecraft TNT. A waterfall flows from the top of the mountain into a Lily Pad-covered moat that serves as the base of the temple. Staircases in the middle of each side lead to a small campfire-lit room at the top of the pyramid-like structure. Including the moat, the Maya temple has seven layers and is mostly composed of Chiseled Stone, Grass, Leaves, Moss, Mossy Cobblestone, Mossy Cobblestone Stairs and Walls, and Vines.
This Mayan-Themed Minecraft Temple Looks Straight Out of History
While ChakaCausey originally suggested that they were inspired by the Aztecs, they later corrected themselves when a Reddit user said it looks more like a Mayan temple. Another user stated that the Maya-inspired temple would be a perfect replacement for Minecraft‘s existing Jungle Temples, but it would likely only happen in a mod. The standard Jungle Temples feature a unique set of traps that protect randomized loot in Chests, making them enticing for players to explore. According to ChakaCausey, this build took them over six hours to create, and the user interface suggests that it was made using a controller.
Although ChakaCausey didn’t share their Seed, they may post it soon, as they continue to respond to the community. Given that Mojang continues to update the game, new blocks may be added in the future that make this build even more incredible than it already is. While the Minecraft Snapshot and Preview builds continue to get patched, it’s unclear how the next big update will look.
