There are plenty of characters you can romance in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. One of the first ones you can romance is Klara, who is a beautiful woman with extensive knowledge of herbs and how to tend wounds.

However, you can easily miss this interaction. You first meet her during the Back in the Saddle quest, where you have to wait for Henry to finish talking to the lord of Nebakov. After a friendly duel with Michael, he will tell you to go to Klara if you want to get patched up. Here we will tell you how to romance her easily.
You can romance Klara two times in the game, and we will cover both of those interactions. At first, you get the chance to romance her during the Back in the Saddles quest, and at the other time, you get to romance her during The Finger of God quest.
Spar With Michael
As Hans Capon is busy talking to the lord of Nebakov, you will be accompanied by Adjutant Michael. After talking to him for a bit, he will ask you to engage in a friendly duel with him; accept the invitation. You don’t have to win this fight, so there is no need to be highly competitive.
If you really want to defeat Michael, you can do so and still romance Klara. Defeat him in the duel, and you will receive a pair of Rowel Spurs as a reward. After the fight, he will ask you to go see Klara to get patched. However, Michael is a tough fighter, so defeating him won’t be easy as you will be dealing way too little damage to him.
After losing to Michael, he will commend you and ask you to go to Klara so she can heal you. Klara’s hut is on your left side, so open the gate and head there. As she was watching the fight, wait for her to reach her hut if she’s not there already.
How To Romance Klara In Back In The Saddles Main Quest
When she is there, talk to her, and you can start flirting with her. Eventually, she will heal you and then ask you whether you will accompany her to gather some herbs. Accept her invitation by choosing the “I can’t say no to a comely maid” option and start following her.
If you have already progressed through this quest and failed to romance Klara, don’t worry, you can still do that later in the game during The Finger of God quest.
On the way, she will ask you about your adventures, so go and brag as much as you would like. She will be impressed, and soon enough, you will reach the meadow. When you have reached the destination, talk to Klara again, and she will tell you what type of herbs she is looking for.
Agree for her help and gather the following herbs:
- Eight Marigold
- Five Poppies
- Four Sage
You may already be carrying some of these, but if you don’t, follow the pathway in front. On the right side, you will find Marigold. Gather the desired amount, and just ahead, you will also find Sage and Poppies. After you have acquired the herbs, head back to Klara and talk to her.
After talking to her, she would ask Henry to follow her into the forest. Follow her, and she will give you a riddle to solve. The answer to the riddle is “I think she’s called Klara”, so choose this option, and you will be able to successfully romance her.
If you are currently in the middle of the Back in the Saddle quest, the rest of the guide may contain some spoilers, so proceed with caution.
How To Romance Klara In A Finger Of God Main Quest
After you have learned the truth about Von Bergow, you have to make yourself comfortable with Zizka and his men.
If you missed the first interaction with Klara, when she was arguing with the guards, don’t worry. You still have a chance to romance her. If she isn’t near the prison cells, head over to her cabin and talk to her.
When you have buried the dead and tried out a diabolical invention, a handgun, you can enter the fortress and hear a young lady arguing with a couple of guards. That is Klara, who is asking the guards to let her heal the wounded.
You can intervene and talk to the guards, but you will immediately be given three skill checks. Using the first option is the best here as it has more chance of working, but if you have more points in Charisma, you can go with the second option, too.
We would not recommend intimidating the guard using the third option, as even with high points, it is likely to backfire, and the guard will turn hostile. So, once you have dealt with the guards, talk to Klara again, and she will thank you. After that, she will ask you to heal three wounded soldiers: Mark, Kozliek, and Zwerk.
Heal The Wounded Soldiers
In order to romance Kalra, you will need to treat the soldiers, and for that, you need supplies. Klara mentions that you can take the necessary supplies from her hut, so go over there and take whatever you need. There are also tons of potions available in her chest.
You may not get the option to heal Kozliek in this quest as you may have killed him in the early game.
After you have taken the necessary items, head over to the coordinates and inspect the injuries of each soldier. To heal Mark, first, you should clean his wounds with schnapps, ask him to stay awake, dress his wounds with bandages, and lastly, do not offer him any type of alcohol.
To heal Kozliek, clean his wounds with schnapps and use gunpowder on his wounds. After that, replace his bandages and offer him a potion to reduce his pain. Lastly, to heal Zwerk, repeat the same process of cleaning his wound with Schnapps and dressing his wounds with bandages.
If you can’t find Zwerk, go down the passage to Mark’s left side. Then, head to the right, and he will be lying on the last bed.
After that, you should sew the open cuts on his body with the help of Tailor’s Kit and rub weak chamomile brew on his ankle.
Even if you fail to heal all of the wounded and just succeed with one, don’t worry, you will still be able to romance Klara.
Romancing Klara
After you have treated all three of the injured men, head over to Klara and let her know you have tended to the wounded. She would appreciate your help, and two more dialogue options would appear. Choose the one about getting drinks and the conversation will end with her asking Henry to wait for her in bed.
Before romancing Klara, it is recommended that you complete the other optional tasks of the quest; otherwise, you won’t be able to.
It is worth noting that if you romanced Klara previously during Back in the Saddle questline, you would get “No walk today, I reckon?” as an additional dialogue.
After the conversation is over, you can go straight to bed, and Klara will follow Henry inside the hut to make love with him. After romancing Klara, Henry will get a Time Well Spent buff, increasing his strength, vitality, and agility, which will definitely come in handy during the war that awaits you.
