One of the main elements of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is the combat. You must focus a lot on the combat in an RPG, and this game is no different. The game doesn’t tell you much about combat, but it does point you in the right direction where you can learn more.

After finishing the Laboratories quest, you can talk to Bara, who will tell you about Tomcat. Ask her more about that man and, as he is the one who will teach you an amazing technique, Master Strike. Bara will tell you where you can find Tomcat, and you will also start a side quest.
How To Find Tomcat
After you have talked to Bara, the coordinates will be marked on your map. Follow the coordinates to find the gentleman you are looking for.
That said, it is still pretty early in the game, and you have a lot to do. So, it is better to get a horse first and do some other quests before you go over to Tomcat to learn more about the combat.
After you have a horse, head over to the coordinates and talk to the person standing outside the fighting arena, who is no other than Tomcat. Ask him to teach you, and he will do so for free. First, he will teach you how to strike your opponent with a combo.
There will be two variations for these combos, so you will have to perform both twice in order to satisfy him. Once done, he will move on to the final training.
How To Learn Master Strike
After you have completed Combat Training I and II, your final training will start. However, for this, you must beat Tomcat in combat. Otherwise, he won’t teach you Master Strike, one of the best abilities in-game.
We recommend using a one-handed sword to fight him so you can better manage your stamina. Now, keep the fundamentals and what Tomcat just taught you in mind. This battle will be difficult as he will be using the Master Strike against you, and you may not be able to prevent getting hit by his attack.
You should not riposte Tomcat after parrying his strike, as he is likely to perform a Master Strike this way.
However, there is a way to play around the Master Strike. You must never attack him from the opposite side of his guard. Instead, attack where he is guarding, and as soon as he starts to get tired, land a few hits on him. After defeating him, he will teach you the Master Strike ability.
You can perform Master Strike with only swords.
