How Long Does The Ashfall Event Last?
The Ashfall Event is a limited-time event that will be active for a week only, ending on February 22, 2025, so you don’t have much time to catch every Ashfall bestiary fish and get some exclusive rewards.
Once the event is over, you won’t be able to catch any fish from this bestiary, so make sure to do it as quickly as possible.
How To Complete The Ashfall Bestiary
To catch all the fish from the Ashfall event, you must wait for the volcano to erupt. That’s when the surrounding waters of Rosilt Bay are filled with lava, where you can fish for limited fish. Then, all you need to do is fish in this lava. If you do everything right, every fish you catch will be from the Ashfall bestiary.
This includes almost the entire area from the Coral Reef to the surrounding Ocean, but not including Freshwater Pond.
Unlike most other bestiaries that are in the game, Ashfall contains quite a few; only nine fish. However, catching them all is not easy, and you should be well-prepared, ensuring you have:

- A good fishing rod
- Totems for changing weather.

To change the weather you need, use different totems, such as Tempest Totem for rain, Windset Totem for wind, and others.
Be sure to prepare at least some of the above-mentioned baits if you can’t get all of them. As for the fishing rod, basically, any rod will do, but Rod of the Depths, which adds a guaranteed catch after every three fish you catch, will make it much faster. You can also use enchantments for your fishing rod. Hasty is the best option because you can catch fish faster.
