Where To Find Pompomurrin

Pompompurin is in the Gemstone Mountain biome. This area is above the Spooky Swamp. The simplest way to access the Gemstone Mountain is to repair the zipline above the Ghost Tour Ride fast-travel mailbox. This zipline needs two Sparks to repair.

After using the zipline, get off the beach and head into town. Follow the post signs west, past the Gemstone Town fast travel point and Pekkle. Continue northwest and there will be a huge ravine. Jump down to find Pompompurin’s dessert restaurant, where he should be inside.

The closest fast travel mailbox is Oasis, above the ravine.

Gifts To Give PomPompurrin

When you first meet Pompompurin, you may not have any of the items needed to please him. Pompompurin’s gift tags are desserts, calm items, and milk. The easiest thing you can acquire first is Coral Milk.

Coral Milk is lootable underwater. You cannot swim underwater until you unlock the ability to craft a Snorkel. To do that, you must unlock the quest Deep Diving with Kuromi by getting her to friendship Level Six.

Once you upgrade Pompompurin’s friendship to Level Four, you will be able to use his kitchen to craft him favorable desserts as gifts.

Friendship Rewards

Leveling up your friendship with Pompompurin will unlock two Avatar color palettes, three furniture pieces, one crafting plan, two dessert recipes, and a Stamina Apple Slice. Befriending Pompompurin unlocks a lot more stuff than some other characters. He gives you access to a crucial crafting machine and multiple other recipes.

Quests From PomPompurrin

Each Friend on the island has at least one quest associated with leveling up their friendship. Pompompurin has two story quests that must be unlocked by leveling up his friend levels. One quest is unlocked early on, at Level Four, unlocking the ability to craft Desserts at his restaurant. The second quest is unlocked at Level Seven, and requires you to do a fetch quest for Pompompurin.
