According to the leak, Varesa will be able to use her Elemental Skill to ride across the lava in Genshin Impact‘s new volcano region. Previous leaks have also suggested that Varesa will not take any damage from riding across the lava, giving her the unique ability to traverse lava-filled areas. Varesa is currently expected to be released as a new five-star character with Version 5.5, currently scheduled to release on March 26.

With leaks beginning to surface about Version 5.5, fans have been given an early idea about how Varesa will play in Genshin Impact. Varesa is expected to be a hypercarry DPS character with a heavy focus around using Plunging Attacks as her main source of damage, coupled with Charged Attacks. Varesa is also expected to boast a special “Limit Drive” state attached to her Ultimate, allowing her to repeatedly re-cast her Ultimate for massive damage. Varesa is set to debut as a new Electro character within Genshin Impact‘s roster.
