Summary

  • Square Enix has opened pre-orders for its Zack Fair Masterline statue.
  • It and the Cloud and Sephiroth statues are based on the characters’ likeness in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
  • The regular statue costs $2,400, and there’s also a deluxe version for $2,600.

Square Enix revealed some incredibly detailed Masterline statues modeled after Cloud, Sephiroth, and Zack’s looks in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth last year. It wisely didn’t note how much those statues were going to cost, at least not at first. Pre-orders are now open for Zack’s statue, meaning all three are now available, and the cheapest option costs $2,400.

No, you didn’t misread that number. If you like the look of Square’s Zack statue enough that you want to display it in your own home, it’s going to cost you at least $2,400 to make that happen. If that lofty price doesn’t put you off, you might want to consider going all in on a Zack statue and grabbing the deluxe version of his statue which costs $2,600.

Tifa and 2B are bringing in the big bucks.

While the regular version has Zack standing with his Buster Sword at the ready, the deluxe version comes with additional arms that allow you to alter the statue’s pose. The extra arms let you make it look as if Zack is reaching over his shoulder, either to put the Buster Sword back in place or to grab it because he’s seen something sinister that requires his attention. I’m assuming the latter based on the look on his face.

There are a few reasons why Square’s Masterline statues are so much more expensive than any of its other options, and pretty much any other video game statues on the market. The leading reason is the attention to detail. There’s a reason why the video revealing the Rebirth statues pays so much attention to their eyes. There’s a tremendous amount of detail in the eyes to make them look almost real.

How big these statues are also plays a big role in their price – also worth making a note of before you drop more than $2,000 on one to make sure you’ve actually got somewhere for them to live. Zack’s statue is a 1/4th scale figure, standing at almost 25 inches tall. The statue also comes with five materia options that can be switched in and out of the slots on Zack’s sword.

Zack Fair is a part of Square Enix’s Masterline statue collection. Zack’s statue is 1/4th scale, standing at almost 25 inches tall. It comes with five materia that fit in the slots on the Buster Sword, and the deluxe version has extra arms so the statue’s pose can be changed.

Even though pre-orders are now open for both versions of Zack’s statue, you’re going to be waiting a while for it to arrive. The statues won’t be released until September 2026, presumably because they will be made to order. On the bright side, we might know when the third part of Final Fantasy 7’s remake trilogy will be released by then.
