I don’t have an Elden Ring Nightreign network test code, and if you’re here, I’d wager you don’t either. Plenty of people across Twitch and social media have been playing FromSoftware’s upcoming spinoff, and it looks like they’re having a great time with the co-op roguelike take on one of the best RPGs ever made, but the rest of us have to wait. Luckily, however, we can all kill time knowing that Nightreign is currently on offer at a pretty nice discount, before it’s even out.
It’s not long off, but the Elden Ring Nightreign release date still can’t come soon enough. We’ll be jetting off to Limveld, where the world of FromSoftware’s RPG might look similar, but it’ll play wildly differently in Elden Ring Nightreign. You’re either solo or in a trio, going through a three-day cycle while taking out myriad bosses from across the Dark Souls series and collecting any loot you can find.
The more deliberate and permanent design of The Lands Between has gone out of the window in Nightreign, as FromSoftware is taking the series in a more procedurally generated direction. The hope is that you’ll keep diving into the three-day cycle, trying out new characters and facing the horrors that await with friends – or random people online.
While there’s a standard edition of Elden Ring Nightreign, you can also pre-order the deluxe version, which comes with bonuses. You’ll be given a digital artbook and mini soundtrack, alongside extra DLC that includes more playable characters and bosses. I’d wager that this DLC will also be made available separately, however.
