Northreach Storage Room Key Location In Avowed

The Northreach Storage Room Key is located in the third room from entering Fort Nortreach, and players will arrive there as part of the Main Mission Introductory Quest. The key is hidden carefully below a shield. If players take a look at the plant overgrowth in the middle of the room, there will be a corpse holding a shield.

When they approach the body of an Aedyran soldier, they will notice that they can interact with the shield to pick it up. Once they do that, looking at the corpse will reveal that it was holding the Storage Room Key.

Most Locked or Blocked Doors in Avowed have an alternative way to be opened. Some of them can be opened from the inside of the room, and require players to do a little platforming to reach the treasure inside. Other locked rooms, like cells, often display Red Explosive Barrels that can be shot to break the walls and open a path to collect the treasure inside. Meanwhile, some chests inside rooms might require Lockpicks, so always carry a bunch of them to never miss a single treasure chest.

You will discover the sad story behind the Painter’s Regret treasure upon obtaining the map in Avowed.

Pick it up and go back to the first room, turn to the left from the lore book, and open the door. Once inside, check the room for valuables, including the Common Breastplate, the first piece of Heavy Armor players will pick up during their adventure. Players will also be able to pick up an Essence Potion, a Health Potion, and some gold from the room.

Though the armor offers a lot of protection (18% Damage reduction + 3 Damage Reduction) it also impairs movement. Like any Heavy Armor piece, it also applies a -35 Stamina and -30 Essence penalty, making it harder for players to combo their attacks. It is a harsh trade-off, but for those looking to build a frontline type of character, it is the best possible equipment to have a good start on their adventure through the Living Lands
