The recipes you unlock in Hello Kitty Island Adventure require various food resources that you can pick up on Friendship Island. As you level up your friendship with the Island Adventure cast, more quests that unlock various tools will open up for you. The Chocolate Coins are one of many underwater resources that are inaccessible until you get the Flippers and the Snorkel. However, they’re worth gathering, since they’re used in two separate 3-heart gifts.

Where to Find the Sunken Ship
Chocolate coins can be found on and around the Sunken Ship in Rainbow Reef. Coins will also spawn inside the surrounding sea sponges, so be sure to check those, too. The Sunken Ship is located to the west of Kelp Maze. Refer to the highlighted area in the above image for the areas that spawn chocolate coins.
You’ll likely need Stamina Apples to have enough energy to dive to the Sunken Ship. Be sure to activate the fast-travel Mailbox nearby.
You can also have the Nul by My Melody’s store to gather chocolate coins. Doing so means you won’t be able to get the requested items until the following day. If you’re Best Friends with any of the islanders, you can ask them to gather items for you instead.

- Interactive History of Chocolate
- Chocolate Chai
These are 3-heart gifts for Chococat and Cinnamoroll respectively. If you have the other ingredients, then you should make some and give them to their respective characters. As you’d expect, 3-heart gifts will give you more experience than 2-heart and 1-heart gifts. They’re useful if you need to increase Chococat or Cinnamoroll’s friendship levels.
