Among the more than 1,000 Pokemon, the Eeveelutions have a special place in fans’ hearts. It all started with the original 151 Pokemon, to which Eevee and its first evolutions – Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon – belong. Over the years, this list has grown with the introductions of Espeon and Umbreon in Gen 2, Leafeon and Glaceon in Gen 4, and Sylveon in Gen 6. Each form has unique characteristics that have made Eevee’s evolutionary line one of the most famous in the franchise, to which fans have dedicated countless fan art.

Pokemon Fan Shows Off Adorable Bulbasaur-Themed Valentine’s Day Gift
A Pokemon fan shares the pair of gifts they made for their wife for Valentine’s Day, with both having an adorable Bulbasaur theme.
This time, two Pokemon fans have made custom cards inspired by the Eeveelutions to give to their partners for Valentine’s Day. The first was Redditor Icy-mochi, who painted a Pokemon tag team card featuring Vaporeon descending from the stars to Umbreon, which, according to them, is an analogy of them helping their boyfriend in difficult times. About this detail, the card has the ability Helping Hand and an adorable flair text at the bottom saying “a promise to always be there when you need me.”
Pokemon Fans Celebrate Valentine’s Day With Thoughtful Gifts
Redditor ThaRealMrRogers, on the other hand, got a card featuring Espeon and Umbreon sitting together while watching the sky as a gift from their girlfriend. Instead of the flavor text usually found on Pokemon TCG cards, the fan art has the title “I Choose You V” and the HP 2025, symbolizing the year in which the card was gifted. Making the creation even more adorable, the text of the V rule section reads “I love you more.” Its ability is called “Evolving Love,” and the description catches the eye for having a lovely Valentine’s Day message for the OP. The card is also noteworthy for featuring Espeon and Umbreon, two pocket monsters that evolve the same way. One happens during the day using the Sun Shard, and the other at night using the Moon Shard.
While the even-numbered generations have typically featured at least one new Eeveelution, it’s been 12 years since Sylveon, the most recent Eeveelution, was introduced with the release of Pokemon X and Y. Since then, the Pokemon franchise hasn’t added a new Eeveelution. Despite that, fans still hope for the day when Game Freak decides to add a new one, since there’s no shortage of creative fan art for new Eeveelutions.
