Summary
- Kaguya’s godly power is rooted in her Rinne-Sharingan, granting abilities beyond Rinnegan and Sharingan.
- Amenominaka allows Kaguya to replace dimensions on a grand scale, not to escape foes.
- Yomotsu Hirasaka enables Kaguya to create rifts in space for ambushes and strategic movement.
The Naruto series has already cemented visual techniques as the epitome of power, with ocular techniques such as the Rinnegan, Mangekyo Sharingan, and the Rinne-Sharingan being a testament to this notion. This fact holds true especially for Kaguya Otsutsuki, a divine being whose godly powers were rooted entirely in her various dojutsu abilities.
Through her many ocular techniques, Kaguya was able to subdue humanity millennia ago, and the same abilities were put on display in Naruto during her battle at the climax of the Fourth Great Ninja War. From her six dimensions to her ability to open rifts in the fabric of space, Kaguya’s ocular techniques truly deem her a godly being. If it weren’t for Naruto and Sasuke’s own power-ups, Kaguya would likely have succeeded in destroying the planet and reigning supreme.

As an Otsutsuki, Kaguya is a being that has all sorts of unparalleled abilities in her arsenal. However, most of Kaguya’s godly ocular techniques stem from her divine eye, otherwise known as the Rinne-Sharingan. The Rinne-Sharingan is a dojutsu that extends far beyond the power of both the Rinnegan and the Sharingan, as it encapsulates the abilities of both dojutsu and more.
Kaguya obtained this eye after she consumed the Divine Chakra Fruit from the God Tree millenia ago, which in-turn granted her the third eye on her forehead — the Rinne-Sharingan. Through this dojutsu, Kaguya has access to a multitude of ocular techniques, with some focusing on teleportation and space-time jutsu, while others are more attuned to the Sharingan’s powers, such as high-level genjutsu.
The Rinne-Sharingan offers abilities that are derived from both the Rinnegan and the Sharingan, whether it’s interdimensional travel or the power to cast high-level genjutsu. However, as an evolved dojutsu, the Rinne-Sharingan also grants Kaguya a few other techniques that are far beyond the capabilities of both the Rinnegan and the Sharingan.
Amenominaka
Replacing Entire Dimensions in an Instant
Arguably the most pronounced dojutsu ability in Kaguya’s arsenal is Amenominaka, a Rinne-Sharingan technique that allows her to teleport herself and anyone in her vicinity to an entirely new dimension, while the technique might seem akin to other forms of space-time ninjutsu, such as Obito’s Kamui, the scale of Amenominaka is far greater than anything witnessed in Naruto before. Amenominaka allows Kaguya and anyone near to an entirely different dimension. However, it would be more accurate to state that, instead of Kaguya teleporting herself and everyone around her to a new dimension, she replaces her current dimension with a new one.
Such a feat requires an immense amount of chakra, meaning Kaguya is arguably one of the only characters in the series who is capable of pulling off such a technique. Amenominaka also gives Kaguya access to six different dimensions, each laden with different landscapes, weather conditions, and environmental conditions. However, Amenominaka’s teleportation power is not the same as any other space-time ninjutsu, as Kaguya cannot use the technique to escape her attackers.
To rewrite the world in an instant and make it reality… this really is like genjutsu.
This is one of Amenominaka’s many drawbacks, as anyone transported through the technique stays relative to Kaguya’s position, meaning she cannot evade her attackers. However, it’s still worth noting that Kaguya can use the teleportation to her strategic advantage to give her an edge in battle. For instance, she was able to teleport Naruto and the rest to her Lava Dimension with no footing, leading to them free-falling into a pit of lava.
Yomotsu Hirasaka
Creating Rifts in the Fabric Of Space
Yomotsu Hirasaka is another one of Kaguya Otsutsuki’s godly techniques that grant her the ability of interdimensional travel. While the technique is native to the Otsutsuki clan, it bears a link to Kaguya’s visual techniques that grant her the omnipotent powers of creating rifts in the fabric of space. Through these openings, Kaguya can instantly teleport herself from one dimension to another, with these portals either leading to other dimensions or into the very same one she is already in.

Teleportation powers can be some of the strongest techniques in the right hands. Here’s a look at some of the best ones in the series.
Kaguya has also been witnessed using this technique by moving only parts of her body through these rifts to ambush and attack her enemies. She can open portals behind her enemies to throw her attacks, in turn catching them off guard, as witnessed in her fight against Sasuke and Naruto. While Yomotsu Hirasaka might seem like a rather simple technique, it still lends Kaguya much of her fighting prowess. Through the technique, she can also move between her own six dimensions, or create multiple rifts in the very same dimension to move around instantaneously, allowing her to escape and evade any attacks.
Infinite Tsukuyomi
An Eternal Genjutsu Enslaving Humanity
Arguably the strongest of Kaguya’s visual techniques is the Infinite Tsukuyomi, a genjutsu that is capable of trapping the entirety of mankind in a dream-like state. Under the effects of this genjutsu, the victims are completely incapacitated, as their minds are stuck in a dream conjured by the Infinite Tsukuyomi. The Infinite Tsukuyomi can only be cast using the Rinne-Sharingan, though the dojutsu on its own is not enough to cast the technique.
For the technique to be used, the user must reflect their Rinne-Sharingan off the moon, in-turn shining an undispellable light all over the world. All those who witness the light fall under the genjutsu’s trap, permanently falling into a dream that conjures a life with their greatest desires. While Madara was able to use the Infinite Tsukuyomi through the moon on Earth, Kaguya used her version of a smaller Infinite Tsukuyomi by teleporting herself and her opponents to one of her dimensions that had a moon. By reflecting her Rinne-Sharingan on this moon, she could cast Infinite Tsukuyomi and a select few targets instead of the entire world.
