One of the most popular heroes in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is Hanzo. In the recent update, the hero received a rework to his skills. In this article, let’s look at all the changes to Hanzo and the ideal build for the hero to dominate the MLBB ranked ladder.

Within MLBB, Hanzo is known as the Akuma Ninja. The hero carries around an incredibly long sword wherever he goes. Within the revamp, Hanzo holds onto one aspect of his playstyle- the dive assassin playstyle—having the ability to enter into various duels and escape the ones that don’t favor him. He is ideal to be played on the jungler role within MLBB.

The Akuma Ninja will be a part of the Assassin class within the game. While his durability and offense are relatively high, the skill ceiling to play the hero has also increased with the revamp. Following the rework in MLBB, Hanzo will still have two active skills, a passive skill and a new ultimate. Let us take a look at these new skills in more detail and compare how they have changed following the revamp:

Passive: Ame No Habakiri

Hanzo’s basic attacks and skills now apply a dark Ninjutsu while damaging enemies. These Ninjutsu stack upto 5 times
Hanzo’s first skill can only be used on enemies with 5 Ninjutsu stacked on them.

Skill 1: Ninjutsu Demon Feast

  • Following the rework, this skill can attack more than creeps, having different effects based on the target.
  • When used on creeps, it will directly devour them and recover their health points. He will also receive gold for the same
  • When used on a turtle or Lord, it will deal True damage.
  • When used on enemy heroes, it will deal massive damage.

Skill 2: Ninjutsu Dark Mist

  • Hanzo now dashes in the targeted direction by the player. While doing his, he leaves a trail of dark mist behind.
  • If he walks on the trail of dark mist, he gains movement speed.
  • Enemies that walk on the dark mist will be slowed and take damage every second.

Ultimate Skill: Kinjutsu Pinnacle Ninja

  • Hanzo’s body becomes invulnerable during his ultimate.
  • He gains demon blood, taking control of the demon Hanekage and leaving his body behind.
  • In this state, Hanzo gains a new set of skills that the player can use. He can also pass through terrain (walls) and gain movement and attack speed.
  • Once the demon’s blood is completely consumed, Hanzo’s body moves toward the demon, and they become one again.
  • If the demon Hanekage is killed, Hanzo will be forced back to his body with low HP and slowed while his location is revealed.
  • Players can click on the ultimate button to return to their body after the skill has be activated.

Hanekage Skill 1: Forbidden Ninjutsu: Soul Snatch

  • Hanekage enters the enemy hero’s body and detonates all the Ninjutsu stacks on them.
  • Based on the number of Ninjutsu, more damage is dealt to the enemy
  • If the enemy has 5 Ninjutsu stacks, after using this ability, Hanzo will recover a certain amount of HP

Hanekage Skill 2: Forbidden Ninjutsu: Black Mist

  • Hanekage dashes forward in the targetted direction. All enemies hit by the dash will be airborne for a second.
  • In the direction Hanekage dashed, there will be a path of black mist.
  • Enemies within the mist will take 133 damage every second while being slowed as they walk on the fog.

Following the rework in MLBB to use Hanzo to his highest potential, we suggest using the assassin emblem on him. Players must equip him with the Rupture, Master Assassin, and Killing Spree talents in MLBB. Recently, MLBB released the Kishin Densetsu Series Skins, consisting of skins for heroes like Lancelot and Angela to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
