Not all enemies can be brawled out in the open in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Sometimes, the best kind of warfare is the kind that doesn’t involve fighting at all. If you’re playing with a stealth build, killing people and gaining notoriety can hinder you in the long run, and robbing people without them noticing can be difficult.

Arguably the best time to rob someone is when they’re asleep. However, it’s tedious to wait all night for an NPC to go to bed naturally. That’s where using a Lullaby potion comes in handy. The Lullaby potion can be used to poison cooking pots and make enemies go to bed sooner.
How To Put Enemies To Sleep
There are a few ways to put enemies to sleep. You can either choose to knock an opponent unconscious (asleep or awake) or use a Lullaby potion on them.
Knock-outs will render your enemies unconscious and unable to wake up, but a Lullaby potion will simply force your target to sleep much sooner than they normally would.
Sleeping enemies are more vulnerable to being robbed or killed, and you can even choose to render them even more unconscious by doing a stealth knockout. The downside to this is that enemies who are knocked out or attacked in their sleep can still make noise and alert their friends.
This is very useful in large groups of people or in places where many people are asleep next to each other, such as in bandit camps.
How To Use A Lullaby Potion
To actually put an NPC to sleep, you need to use a Lullaby potion. A Lullaby potion, when ingested, will make your target tired and send them to bed earlier than normal.
To poison someone with a Lullaby potion, you need to find a cooking pot, cauldron, water source, or wine barrel. Essentially, anything an NPC eats or drinks from during the day can be poisoned.
To poison a food or drink source, approach the source and choose the ‘Pour potion’ option. From here, you will be prompted to choose a potion from your inventory and pour it into the container. You can now pour in your Lullaby potion.
Lullaby potions won’t work instantaneously, however, so you’ll need to find a safe spot to either sleep or wait nearby to pass the time.
After a few minutes to hours (depending on the time you poisoned the container), the NPCs will ingest the Lullaby potion and go to bed. From here, you can choose to knock them out, rob, or kill them, depending on your playstyle.
