How to Get Max Level Health in Red Dead Redemption 2
Health can be leveled up in Red Dead Redemption 2 through a variety of activities, with each of them providing its own amount of XP for the Health attribute bar. Here’s how to level up health, fast:
- Catch Fish – Depending on the size of the fish, players can earn 10 to 30 XP for their Health Bar, regardless of whether they keep the fish or let it go.
- Melee Knockout/Kill – Winning a Fist Fight grants 10 XP.
- Stealth Knockout/Kill – A Stealth kill grants 10 XP.
- Bow Kills & Throwing Weapon Kills – Kills with the Bow, Throwing Knives, and Tomahawks all grant 20 Health XP per kill, whether that’s an enemy or an animal to hunt.
- Rowing – Rowing in a boat for 100 meters will grant 20 XP, and players can remain in the boat to row for the most efficient XP farm.
- Drink a Ginseng Elixir – 25% XP rewarded from this drink, which can be found in a variety of cabins.
- Herbalist, Master Hunter, Weapons Expert Challenges – 25 XP for Rank 2, 50 XP for Rank 4, 100 XP for Rank 6, 100 XP for Rank 8, 150 XP for Rank 9.
Once players have reached Level 8 in their Health attribute, they will need to then complete all 10 Challenges of these specific sets:
- Herbalist
- Master Hunter
- Weapons Expert
Once players have completed all 10 Challenges in any of these three sets, they can head to the Trapper in Saint Denis and purchase the Equipment Set. After purchasing the Bandolier, Holster, Off-Hand Holster, and Gun Belt of each Equipment Set, players will raise their Health Attribute from Level 8 to Level 9, to Level 10 upon completion of all three.
How to Get Max Level Stamina in Red Dead Redemption 2
Stamina is fairly easy to level up in Red Dead Redemption 2, as there are a few activities that grant levels of progression for the Stamina Attribute:
- Sprinting – 20 XP for every 100 meters.
- Swimming – 20 XP for every 15 seconds spent swimming.
- Having less than 25% Health – 20 XP for completing combat engagements with less than 25% Health.
- Drink Aged Pirate Rum – 25% XP rewarded from this drink, which can be found in a variety of cabins.
- Explorer, Horseman, Survivalist Challenges – 25% XP for Rank 2, 50 XP for Rank 4, 100 XP for Rank 6, 100 XP for Rank 8, 150 XP for Rank 9.
After reaching Level 8 in the Stamina Attribute, players can achieve a further two levels to reach Level 10 Stamina if they complete the following Challenge Sets:
- Explorer
- Horseman
- Survivalist
After completing a Set of Challenges in any of these categories, head to the Trapper in Saint Denis and purchase the Equipment Set. Once players have all 4 pieces in the same set, they will increase their Stamina Attribute permanently, and this can be maxed out at Level 10 with all 3 Sets completed and purchased.
