Avowed has a ton of side activities that players can partake in to earn money and rank their characters up at the same time. There’s a bounty board in the Southern Paradis area where you can hunt down targets, bring back a trophy, and get rewarded for it. One of the targets is a giant spider boss called Nacib, which can be found in the Ruinous Cavern in Dawnshore. Here’s how you can find the bounty target Nacib and eliminate it in Avowed.

How to Find Nacib Bounty Target

Players can find the Nacib Spider Boss in the Ruinous Cavern along the western wall of Paradis and east of Ivona’s Threshold in Avowed. Players will need to travel to its dungeon and locate the boss inside. Here’s how to reach the Nacib spider boss.

Be sure to grab any materials and loot every chest box along the way to maximize rewards during the bounty hunt.

  1. After entering the Ruinous Cavern, move further inside and eliminate all the spiderling minions in the main cavern.
  2. Before progressing further, look towards the right, and you’ll spot a wall of web that can be taken down with Kai’s Firestarter companion ability (or fire spells). Head inside and jump down the ledge on the right to grab the Steel Garrote Medallion, a unique accessory.
  3. Return to the main cavern and head straight ahead, down the slope, to find a hole blocked by webs. Use fire skills to burn the webs again and drop down into a pool of water.
  4. Exit the pool and keep going forward. Burn another webbed pathway and keep following the caverns until you reach a large chamber with several spiderlings inside. This is the arena where Nacib will spawn.

How to Beat Nacib Spider Boss in Avowed

Once you enter the arena, you’ll have to defeat all the smaller and larger spiderlings. Once you take down enough spiderlings, the Nacib boss will spawn out of the pond. Here are all the attacks Nacib will use against the players.

  • Jump Attack: Nacib will pounce on either the players or the companions, inflicting damage.
  • Charged Attack: The boss will raise its front legs and hit players.
  • Phantom Spiders: At random intervals during combat, Nacib will unleash a scream and summon phantom spiders to attack players and companions.
  • Webbed Trap: Nacib will launch a ball of web toward players that will explode on impact, dealing damage.

Dealing with Nacib is a bit tricky as smaller spiderlings will keep spawning in the arena and attack players during the boss fight. You’ll have to keep an eye out for smaller enemies while focusing your attacks on Nacib, to avoid receiving poison damage.

Shooting the Nacib spider boss from afar with a good bow is recommended as you’ll keep your distance from other spiderlings and avoid getting hit by the boss’ close-range attacks. However, if you’ve got a high DPS melee weapon and a decent amount of stamina, you can deal with the boss at close range and dodge every time it launches an attack.

Once you’ve defeated Nacib, you’ll need to collect Nacib’s Leg as the bounty trophy alongside other valuable loot. There’s a body lying in Nacib’s arena that you can loot to get a Steel Garrote Plate, which is a unique heavy armor. Now you can either attempt another bounty or return to the Bounty Master Aldrich and claim your reward.
