After you have completed the Divine Messenger Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you will be aware of what exactly is going on. Sooner, Otto Von Bergow will gather his army and reach Nabakov to defeat the bandits and, of course, Henry, Hans, and Godwin.

The battle is going to be big and, given the size of Von Bergow’s army, it will become obvious to you who will be victorious. The Finger of God quest can be a little tricky, so here we will guide you on how to complete this mission with ease.
Burying Dead Bodies
Godwin is a man of God, so he will ask Henry to follow him and bury the three dead soldiers. So, follow Godwin and you will notice three dead bodies on the left side of the road. On the right side will be the graveyard, so pick up a spade and dig three graves.
After you are done digging, pick up the bodies one by one and bury them while Godwin is praying. After that, follow Godwin to the fosse, and you will witness a diabolical invention, a handgun. Learn how to use the weapon and after finishing the training you will receive 20 lead balls and your first gun.
Doing The Optional Quests
You can either skip directly to the main quest by sleeping or you can do some optional quests. The latter is recommended as the optional quests will not only boost your forces for the upcoming war but will also unlock some interactions.
For starters, you can load the supplies into the cart by taking to Hired Hand Bluster. He is not that friendly, so upon first interaction, Bluster will try to fight you. You can easily use your skills to avoid that, but even if you fight him it won’t be difficult. After that, put the five sacks into the cart, which is pretty boring.
Another interesting objective is helping Klara. She can be found near the cells arguing with a couple of guards, so approach and interrupt them. Choosing the first option would be the best here as intimidating them would lead to a fight. If you have more points in Charisma, then choosing the second option is fine, too.
If you missed Klara when she was near the prison cells, you can also find her in her cabin. So, if she isn’t in the aforementioned location, go over to her cabin.
After that, talk to Klara again and she will thank you for your help. She will then ask you to treat three soldiers, so get all the supplies from Clara’s cabin and treat them. Once you have treated them, you will unlock the option to romance Klara. However, it is better to complete the other objectives before romancing her, as otherwise, you won’t be able to do so.
You can have an additional dialogue with Klara “No walk today, I reckon?” if you have romanced her before during the Back in the Saddle quest.
The other objectives you can do before romancing Klara are:
- Finding horseshoes for Peltzel, who can be found in the stables.
- Helping Bull by sharing three weapons in the forge.
- Playing dice with Hans Capon, who can be found in the watchtower.
If you play dice with Hans before talking to Klara, you will miss the whole segment, so it is better to talk to her first and then talk to Hans.
Defending The Castle Against Von Bergow’s Army
Henry will wake up due to all the noise caused by others preparing for the war as Von Bergow’s army is already here. You, along with all the soldiers, now have to defend the castle. After a long cutscene, you will be given the first task: knocking off the enemy’s ladders.
To find a halberd, go around the corner behind you from your starting position.
To do so, equip a halberd, go close to the ladder, and hold E on the keyboard, and A|X on the controller.
After you have dealt with the ladders, your next task would be to help Hans. So, head over there and stop the enemies from breaking the main gate. Pick up the stones and throw them on the top of enemies to knock them out.
After that, Captain Zizka will ask you to follow him to deal with another wave of enemies. Follow him and fight them. Make sure you fight the enemies who are already engaged with others. Strike them from behind to kill them easily.
If you fail to do any objective, the enemy will get inside the castle, and it will instantly trigger the quest’s end. Also, we faced a glitch that if you fail to go to other objectives in time, the enemy will freeze in place, and you won’t be able to proceed with the quest. So, if that happens to you, simply reload the quest.
After that, make your way to the courtyard and another cutscene will start. Henry, along with Zizka, Hans, and Godwin, still doesn’t want to give up, but the enemy has a trump card up their sleeve, a cannon, another diabolical invention. The enemy will shoot the cannonball right at you, minimizing the chance of survival. This will mark the quest’s end.
