Honkai: Star Rail has revealed a ton of new content coming in Version 3.1, including two new playable characters and a Trailblaze mission. Honkai: Star Rail‘s next update is scheduled for launch on February 26 and has already shared an official trailer.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0, the game’s biggest update to date, introduced the world of Amphoreus. Unlike other in-game planets, Amphoreus seems to be completely disconnected from the rest of the universe’s Paths and Aeons. However, Version 3.0 revealed that mystery still surrounds Amphoreus, and Honkai: Star Rail‘s next update intends to dive deeper into this riddle. Developer HoYoverse held a special livestream with limited Honkai: Star Rail redeem codes and details about the patch’s various additions.

Honkai: Star Rail has shared a new official trailer for Version 3.1, which will arrive on February 26. As shared by developers, the update will add a new Trailblaze mission and an explorable city called the “Grove of Epiphany.” This area is closely related to Anaxa, a highly-anticipated character, who is teased to appear in the next storyline chapter. The trailer also focuses heavily on Mydeimos, with a potential battle between him and Phainon shown. It was revealed that Honkai: Star Rail‘s next banners will feature the new 5-Star characters Tribbie and Mydei, along with reruns for Yunli and HuoHuo. The game announced a new Divergent Universe mode called “Protean Hero” with different blessing mechanics depending on day-or-night combat. This DU will replace the current Human Comedy one and can reward players up to 3,500 Stellar Jades from completion. The patch will feature some limited-time events as well, including a log-in event with up to ten free pulls.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1 is also adding a new 5-Star Remembrance Lightcone to Herta’s Store, which could come in handy for players as more characters from this Path are expected in later updates. The new Divergent Universe will introduce a special item called Tears of Souls, used to ascend characters’ levels and traces faster. Earlier leaks about Honkai: Star Rail‘s new game mode teased some strong returning bosses like Hoolay and Cirrus as challenges. Finally, two new Relic Sets and ascension materials are coming to the game.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1 is expected to be quite rewarding for players, but the game’s Amphoreus era is far from over. Honkai: Star Rail recently drip-marketed Castorice and Anaxa, confirming them as the next 5-Star characters to join the playable roster, leaving only Hyacine, Phainon, and Cipher on the waitlist.
