Fallout Fans Love Lucy Cosplay

Numerous fans of the series and TV adaptation have showered compliments on the cosplayer for their efforts. Several have praised the outfit for being spot-on, while others have noted that the cosplayer has a striking resemblance to Lucy’s actress, Ella Purnell. Some fans made jokes revolving around the show, like trying to warn the cosplayer of the danger that Lucy faces following her wedding in the vault. Another wondered if the cosplayer would be interested in doing a variation of the cosplay, when Lucy has to fight her way through the vault after a raider attack. Cheyennigins4 responded that she’s done that, too, sharing a second set of images of her as the bloodied bride, complete with Pip-Boy, holster, and the tranquilizer pistol Lucy uses.

It’s clear that Fallout‘s TV series has been a major success for Bethesda and Amazon. While many video game adaptations have flopped, Fallout has been one of the standouts. Its overall accuracy to the post-apocalyptic world, while still introducing a new set of characters and storylines that fit well within it, have pleased fans greatly. The first season ended on a cliffhanger, teasing that the show would be moving into the territories seen in Fallout: New Vegas, which has players more eager than ever to see new episodes. With no release date announced yet, fans will likely be looking forward to more clever cosplays and fan tributes like this one in the meantime.
