Three things in life are certain: death, taxes, and a deluge of new sports games every year. Whether it’s annually or biannually, fans of soccer, basketball, ice hockey, Formula 1, and more are rarely left uncatered for. In the coming weeks, two more massive sports games, WWE 2K25 and PGA Tour 2K25, will arrive, but right now you can get a decent discount on them before they’ve even dropped.

While EA boasts the biggest and most popular slate of sports games – with everything from EA FC, to UFC, to Madden – 2K isn’t far behind it. In recent months we’ve been treated to NBA 2K25 and even a brand new TopSpin tennis game, but in the near future it’ll be time for WWE 2K25 and PGA Tour 2K25 to shine. Both the wrestling series and the golf series boast huge fandoms, and these new entries will contribute towards what is a massive year for 2K and parent company Take-Two in general. Borderlands 4, Mafia The Old Country, and of course the GTA 6 release date are all destined for 2025 too.

PGA Tour 2K25 is arriving first on Friday, February 21, and it sees the series return after its typical two-year gap. For the first time in PGA Tour 2K history, you’ll be able to play Major Championships with full licensing. While The Masters is missing, you can compete in The Open, The US Open, and The PGA Championship as either your own customizable and upgradable pro golfer or as one of the real stars of the game.

It’s also got its brilliant custom course creator. I have fond memories of making unspeakably difficult or totally ridiculous courses way back when the series was known as The Golf Club, and in its upcoming iteration there are so many tools at your disposal to make whatever course you want.

If you pre-order PGA Tour 2K25 through Fanatical, you’ll get 13% off of the retail price, making it $59.49 / £52.19.

Then there’s WWE 2K25, which will land a few weeks later on Friday, March 14. Whether you like to jump from the top rope as a superstar like Roman Reigns or Jacob Fatu, or as your own ridiculous custom wrestler (the character creator is one of the greatest in all of gaming, by the way) WWE 2K has always had you covered.

In 2K25, you’ll be treated to all the usual modes and high-quality match presentation that you’ve come to expect, but the single biggest addition is The Island. A brand new social hub that supports up to 50 players at once, it’s kinda like a massive wrestling theme park, with different areas and themed buildings filled with challenges, side quests, and opportunities to progress and upgrade your MySuperstar character.

Pre-ordering on Fanatical will also get you 13% off of WWE 2K25 ahead of launch, bringing the price down to $59.49 / £47.84.
