The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2 has plenty of important items for you to find to power yourself up, Holo Cores being one of the most important. These little gadgets will vastly alter the stats that increase when you perform a shard boost, meaning they’re essential for building each character exactly the way you want them.

Trails Through Daybreak 2 Review – A Trail Not Really Worth Following

Trails Through Daybreak 2 has several vast improvements, but a lackluster story with poorly implemented time travel makes it difficult to recommend.

There are a total of 20 different Holo Cores you can obtain through Trails Through Daybreak, not including those that characters come equipped with automatically. This here guide will help you nab them all so you don’t miss any.

Where To Find Every Holo Core

A list of Holo Cores

First off, it’s important to note that Holo Core can be obtained in a variety of different ways, with only a handful of them available to find in the actual world of Calvard. A lot of them are either given as rewards for playing Marchen Garten, completing achievements, or through the actual story itself. Without further ado, here’s where you can find every Holo Core, and when they first become available.

Two Holo Cores have names which can be considered spoilers for the main story and one side story. To avoid spoiling the story for you, we’ve omitted the names of these Holo Cores, but have still included where you can find them.

Most of these can be obtained whenever you wish, though the ones found in chests are best grabbed as soon as possible. If you missed one in a dungeon, it’s worth seeing if you can return to the dungeon later in the story, unless it was in either in Langport or Messeldam. You’re out of luck then.

Arguably, the one Holo Core you’ll have to work for the most is Alter Raym, as catching that many fish can be a bit of a task if you don’t know where you’re looking. Thankfully, we also have a guide on the complete workings of Trails Through Daybreak 2’s new fishing minigame, and where you can find every fish.
