You can collect them off the trees in the Spooky Swamp. However, if you want a more consistent source, you can try playing the Bogging For Apples minigame. It will test your agility as you try to gather as many ghost apples you can in a limited time. If you have some extra Game Tickets to spare, use them in a productive way to obtain apples.
How To Find Apples
Apples are a fairly scarce resource in Hello Kitty Island Adventure that you won’t be getting unless you reach the Spooky Swamp. After you are there, you need to go to the northern area where you find Kuromi hanging around. On the left side of that place, you will find the Hedge Maze.
To unlock Spooky Swamp, you need to complete the Power Up The Gate quest.
Apples can be grabbed from the trees here. However, you might not find them growing all the time here, so it can take a while to gather some. But there is a minigame you can play that will yield you way more apples.
How To Play Bogging For Apples Minigame
At the entrance of the Hedge Maze, you will find a Null who will let you play the Bogging For Apples minigame for one Game Ticket. You will need to collect 20 apples within 60 seconds. You will be rewarded with five apples, and some other miscellaneous items including cosmetics.
You can play this minigame as many times as you like as long as you have Game Tickets.
The minigame is fairly easy, as you can keep grabbing apples that come your way as fast as you can. They are arranged in a sequence, so you don’t have to wander off that far. Collect all the apples placed together in the area and then move across the trail of apples, and you can successfully clear the minigame.
How To Use Apples
The delicious apples that you have gathered can be used in Hello Kitty’s kitchen to make some desserts. You can make Mama’s Apple Pie, which you need to have Dear Daniel as a visitor on your island.
You can also gift Apples and Apple dishes to characters who love them as gifts. You will be able to quickly bond with Hello Kitty who loves sweet treats.
