Vault Underground is a new area added underneath Averardo Vault in Wuthering Waves version 2.1. While the map looks big, the exploration is quite limited as players can only reach certain locations by boarding the train Echo and steering it along the tracks. But that did not stop the developers from adding multiple Treasure Spots for players to reach and get the treasure chests in those locations.
Rovers can reach this location and light up the map by completing the Silent as a Falling Leaf Exploration Quest. With each task, new sub-areas will be unlocked and players will also activate the Resonance Beacons nearby. In Vault Underground, there are a total of 3 Treasure Spots for players to explore and claim the free rewards.

Six Treasure Spots in Nimbus Sanctum hide a lot of treasure chests waiting to be claimed in Wuthering Waves.
Vault Underground Treasure Spot Chest Location 1
The towers in the Vault Underground are like a maze with huge rooms and different floors, along with tons of Echoes on almost every floor. The first Treasure Spot is on the third floor of Precious Metals and Artwork Depository. Teleport to the Resonance Beacon in front of the tower and enter through the entrance.
Once players enter the Precious Metals and Artwork Depository building, go to the left side for a working elevator and use it to reach the third floor. After arrival, there will be a stair leading north and Rovers can follow the path until they reach the Treasure Spot. There will be many groups of enemies along the way, so players can choose whether to ignore or fight them.
Inside the room with the Treasure Spot, there are many mobs pacing around the room, so it’s best if players defeat all of them first, especially since the room is small and battle is inevitable there. There are a total of 4 treasure chests in this area, and their locations are:
- The first chest is on the right side of the entrance, near a flower pot.
- Go to the middle of the room and check behind the pillar for an Advanced Supply Chest.
- The next one is also near a flower pot, on the west side of this room.
- Walk to the end of the room for the last treasure chest beside a lamp.
Vault Underground Treasure Spot Chest Location 2
The second Treasure Spot at Vault Underground in Wuthering Waves is located on the third floor of Echo Depository tower. Use the Resonance Beacon in front of the tower and enter through the entrance before heading to the elevator on the left side. There are many enemies in the lobby, so players may want to defeat all of them first, or they will attack while Rovers are waiting for the elevator to come down.
Once players reach the third floor, use the stairs in front of the elevator to reach the next room and keep following the path until they reach the Treasure Spot. Along the way, there are many enemies and also treasure chests that were not counted in the Treasure Spot, so make sure to claim them too.
A total of 4 treasure chests can be obtained from this room, and Rovers can get them all by the following route:
- Go to the right side of the room and get the chest behind a pillar.
- From the previous spot, another chest is visible and located right beside the stairs.
- Now, go to the left side of the room for another chest near a pillar.
- The last Advanced Supply Chest is near the holographic Echo display at the entrance of this room.
Vault Underground Treasure Spot Chest Location 3
The last Treasure Spot in Vault Underground can be seen in the Unknown Vault Area. Players can only reach this tower by progressing through the Silent as a Falling Leaf Exploration Quest. Warp to the Resonance Beacon nearby and head inside the vault before following the only path inside.
Inside the ruin, there is a gap that players must cross to reach the other side of the vault. The rocks in the middle are not climbable, but Rovers can use the rocks on the left of the pillars to climb a little bit and land on top of the pillar before jumping onto the elevated ground. After that, keep walking on the same route until they reach the Treasure Spot.
Similar to other towers, the Unknown Vault Area is also filled with Echoes, posing as a threat to the exploration. It’s best if players defeat them first before claiming the chests. Be careful of a Mimic Echo in the Treasure Spot that tries to disguise itself as a treasure chest to attack unsuspecting players. Excluding the bright red treasure, which is Mimic Echo, there are 4 treasure chests to be claimed in this room:
- The first Advanced Supply Chest is near the musical instrument at the front of the room.
- Head further inside for another chest behind a table.
- The next Basic Supply Chest is right opposite to the previous spot.
- Walk deeper into the room behind the bar for a Standard Supply Chest.
