Version 2.1 of Wuthering Waves introduces two new areas, Vault Underground and Riccioli Islands, both filled with chests and challenges for players to discover. One of these challenges is the Echo Challenge called Dancer Hacking, found in the Vault Underground. Located beneath Averardo Vault, Vault Underground serves as a vast depository space constructed by the Montelli Family.
To access Vault Underground and its Echo Challenges, players must first complete the Exploration Quest Silent as a Falling Leaf, which automatically appears in the player’s quest log upon logging in during or after Version 2.1. Vault Underground Dancer Hacking (Echo Challenge)
Location #1
The first Dancer Hacking Echo Challenge is located on the second floor of the Precious Metals and Artworks Depository in Vault Underground. Use the Resonance Beacon at the location and head inside the building. Go up the main staircase and wait for the circular vault door to open. Enter the vault, take two right turns, and head to the end of the hallway past a Chop Chop to find the challenge. Use the Montelli Clearance Module tool, obtained during the Silent as a Falling Leaf quest, to shoot the kneeling Vitreum Dancer and take control of it.
Players must guide the Vitreum Dancer, which can only move in straight lines, to the spot under the lights to complete the challenge. Players may find this challenge similar to the Pathfinder puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail. Finishing this challenge rewards players with an Advanced Supply Chest. Location #2
The second Dancer Hacking Echo Challenge is located in the Unknown Vault Area, situated in the northeasternmost part of Vault Underground. Use the Resonance Beacon at the top-right corner of the map and take the two Cuddle Wuddle Plushie Leaps to reach the building west of the beacon. Once inside the hallway, continue straight until you reach a sleeping Hurriclaw, then turn left. The challenge is behind a set of automatic doors on the right.
As before, use the Montelli Clearance Module tool to start the challenge and earn an Advanced Supply Chest. Here are the directions for this Dancer Hacking Echo Challenge:

These are currently the only two Dancer Hacking Echo Challenges located in Vault Underground. For players looking for more challenges, there are plenty of Echo Challenges in other areas of Rinascita, such as the Unfinished Book. Echo Challenges typically have players take control of a Tacet Discord to solve puzzles and complete tasks.
