Valve Reveals Steam Sales Schedule for the Rest of 2025

Steam has revealed the dates for the themed promotions scheduled to take place in the second half of 2025, completing the list of discount periods coming to the storefront this calendar year. This newly shared information helps developers as well as players on Steam plan for the time ahead in an informed way.

Thanks to Steam offering eye-watering discounts on a wide range of titles regularly, it has over time habituated users to splurge money and grow their game library during its various sale events, different versions of which take place throughout the year. As a consequence, the highly popular Valve-owned platform has become as synonymous with game sales as it has become synonymous with PC gaming. Recently, it shared fresh information about the sales that are in place for the second half of 2025, after previously revealing discount events for the first half of the year back in July 2024.

Valve announced its full slate of themed sales fests coming to Steam in 2025, ranging from the major seasonal ones to the more frequent promotions that bring price drops for different kinds of Steam titles each time. While the first major promotional event of the year, Steam Spring Sale, is planned to take place from March 13 to March 20, the Steam Summer Sale is set to last from June 26 to July 10. The final two big sales, the Steam Autumn Fest and the Steam Winter Fest are respectively scheduled from September 29 to October 6 and from December 18 to January 5, 2026. Notably, among these key sales, the Autumn Fest version would be carried out on different dates compared to the preceding year, where it took place between November 27 and December 4.
