Unsurprisingly, many curious players attempted to buy the game, but it looks like Tides of Annihilation isn’t quite ready for its debut after all.

Suddenly unveiled during the February 2025 State of Play presentation to massive fanfare, Tides of Annihilation is coming soon to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The single-player fantasy action-adventure game, inspired by Arthurian legend, takes place in a frightening alternate version of London that has been compromised by bizarre creatures, some of which are as large as the buildings that dot the city’s iconic skyline. Players will step into the role of Gwendolyn, the only surviving human, who is tasked with retrieving the missing Grail Shards to uncover the truth about the cataclysm. Although no release window has been given, Xbox players recently discovered something strange while doing some game shopping.
