Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1 update “Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne” will release on 26th February 2025

Version 3.1 will bring two new playable characters Tribbie and Mydei!
Version 3.1 will re-run 2 characters Yunli and HuoHuo!
The story of Amphoreus will continue in the following Version 3.1 right where it dropped off in 3.0

HoYoverse is gearing up to release Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1 update, titled “Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne,” on 26th February 2025. This update brings new maps and epic story expansions to the world of Amphoreus as well as introducing new and playable 5-star characters such as Tribbie and Mydei!

New Chapter in the Flame-Chase Journey

First off, the Flame-Chase Journey is heating up as we’ve successfully reclaimed Nikador’s Coreflame, but there’s still a long road ahead. Now, we’re heading to a brand-new map, “Grove of Epiphany“, a sacred city-state dedicated to Cerces, the Reason Titan.

This place is like a hub of knowledge, filled with scholars and deep research on the black tide and Titans. But here’s the catch, it’s been completely overrun by the black tide! Now it’s up to us to rescue survivors, uncover hidden truths, and reclaim Cerces’ Coreflame before it falls into the wrong hands. Sounds intense, right?

Another big part of this update is the reveal of the Abyss of Fate, which was once the legendary city of Janusopolis. Using the power of Oronyx, we’ll be able to explore echoes of the past and uncover lost secrets from the Era Chrysea. And speaking of history, we’re finally getting more lore on Tribbie, the newest 5-star character!

New Playable Characters in Version 3.1

Tribbie

Tribbie is a 5-Star Quantum Unit following the Path of Harmony. Her kit is all about boosting the team while dishing out Follow-up Attacks. Her skills allow her to create a special zone where enemies take more damage, and every time an enemy is hit inside that zone, she deals additional damage to the strongest enemy. She’s a huge DPS support who can turn the tide of battle in an instant!

Mydei

Mydei is a 5-star Imaginary Unit following the Path of Destruction. He’s the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, and his fighting style is all about using his massive HP pool to charge up and enter an enhanced form. In this form, he automatically attacks enemies, dealing huge damage while barely breaking a sweat. If you love aggressive, tanky units, Mydei is the one to look out for!

Re-runs

If you missed Yunli and Huohuo, you’re in luck! These limited 5-star characters are making their return in the Version 3.1 warp event, so this is your chance to add them to your team!

New Events and Gameplay Features

On top of the new story and characters, we’re also getting some really exciting events!

Divergent Universe: New Season

This time around, battles will feature the Day and Night System, where the battlefield will shift between day and night, giving different buffs and effects. This adds a whole new layer of strategy to the game, and I can’t wait to see how it plays out!

The Awooo Firm Event

This one looks super fun! We’ll take on the role of a manager for the chimera squad in Okhema and help them become the strongest team. This event seems like a mix of management and battle strategy, so it should be a nice change of pace from the usual gameplay.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this update is looking amazing! The new map, exciting lore drops, and fresh characters all make Version 3.1 feel like a must-play patch. Personally, I’m hyped for Tribbie and the Day and Night System in the Divergent Universe. I can’t wait to see where this story takes us and how the events in Amphoreus will change the fate of the universe. This update has everything I’m looking for, and I’m ready to dive in!
