Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After is a new stage show premiering this summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Set to take place on Sunset Boulevard, the live show unfolds within the mysterious realm of the Magic Mirror, a space where Disney’s most iconic villains will finally have the chance to tell their side of the story. As part of the show, 101 Dalmatians’ Cruella de Vil, Peter Pan’s Captain Hook, and Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent will each “break through the glass” for their own individual performances, offering a fresh and eerie take on their legendary tales. Although the official debut is still a few months away, Disney is already bringing the villains to Hollywood Studios ahead of time, giving guests an early taste of the mischief to come.

With Valentine’s Day 2025 just around the corner, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is embracing its wicked side by celebrating Villaintines Day with exclusive free villain-themed cards and surprise character encounters featuring some of Disney’s most notorious baddies. According to WDWNT, on Thursday, February 13, guests were greeted with special Villaintines Day cards, a collectible sheet featuring six villain-inspired valentines. Each card showcases an iconic Disney Villain, including Hades, Captain Hook, Jafar, the Evil Queen, Maleficent, and Cruella de Vil, with “Happy Villaintine’s Day” printed on the side. The back of each villaintine includes a “To” and “From” section, making them perfect for sharing a little mischief with friends. The Walt Disney World logo is also featured at the bottom.
Limited-Time “Villaintines” and Character Encounters
The Villaintines Day promotion is a tie-in for the highly anticipated stage show, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, set to debut at Hollywood Studios this summer. For those unable to attend in person, the special villaintines can also be downloaded from the Disney Parks Blog. Adding to the excitement, several Disney Villains set to appear in Unfairly Ever After made surprise appearances throughout the park. Jafar was spotted outside the entrance to Walt Disney Presents, posing in front of a Cave of Wonders backdrop. He even posed with his villaintine, which reads, “Undoubtedly me. Be Mine?”
The highly anticipated villains show at Hollywood Studios isn’t the only Disney Villain expansion coming to Walt Disney World. Disney has also announced plans for a Villains-themed land at Magic Kingdom. This new area will put the spotlight on iconic Disney villains, featuring themed dining, shopping, and two major attractions. The land is expected to be developed in the northwest corner of Magic Kingdom, replacing the area where Rivers of America currently sits.
