My Hero Academia: 8 Best All For One Quotes
All For One loves the sound of his own voice, and as a result, he has let out a fair share of iconic quotes that feed into his villainous persona.
Deku’s class at U.A, Class 1-A, has stuck by his side through thick and thin, and even though some members shine brighter than others, all twenty students have fought bravely in battles and overcome personal struggles. Fans can often agree on the fact certain characters’ hero costumes particularly stand out for the way they embody their wearer’s Quirks, personality, or even subtle hidden meanings. Whereas all views will inevitably vary, some of these hero costumes stand out as among the best hero suits in MHA as a whole.
20
Toru Hagakure
The Invisible Girl Isn’t Really In Need Of A Hero Suit
Toru Hagakure can’t really fairly be compared to the hero suits of the other members of Class 1-A, seeing as her Quirk is invisibility. Therefore, she doesn’t actually wear a hero outfit apart from gloves and shoes.
The subtle coloring of her shoes and gloves will help her blend in with many different environments, complementing her stealth abilities. Perhaps having even thinner shoes instead of boots would enhance her stealth even more, as they’d make much less noise.
19
Koji Koda
Koda Wears Bright Colors But A Rather Informal Hero Suit
One of Class 1-A’s more minor members, Koda, doesn’t have the most practical or visually pleasing hero suit compared to those of his classmates. The bold, bright colors, though they clash, could serve to disguise his inner shyness.
Overall, though, Koda’s costume seems far too casual with the T-shirt and shorts compared to those around him. His mask looks like a duck’s bill, which seems to be the only aspect of his suit that reflects his ability to communicate with animals.
18
Minoru Mineta
Mineta’s Hero Costume Is Hard To Take Seriously
Mineta isn’t the most prominent member of Class 1-A and is instead mostly used for comic relief. While he’s not the most popular among fans, his suit, unfortunately, suffers the same fate. The wacky color scheme seems childish, especially with the diaper-looking ‘grape bowl’ he wears around his waist. Even if his hero name is Grape Juice, it’s impossible to take the ‘diaper’ seriously.
The headgear he wears does showcase his Pop Off Quirk well, though overall, it has to be said that Mineta’s suit is not the most heroic-looking outfit at all and presents him as very juvenile instead of as a hero of tomorrow.
17
Rikido Sato
Sato’s Attire Doesn’t Reflect His Quirk
Sato is also one of Class 1-A’s minor members, and this status is reflected in his very plain apparel. The yellow bodysuit doesn’t really show off his Sugar Rush Quirk at all.
However, Sato wears a utility belt to store sugary treats, which is what makes his Quirk work in the first place. Arguably, the ‘low-key’ aesthetic, which doesn’t reveal his Quirk blatantly, could give him the upper hand in a battle since he’s harder to read than others.
16
Momo Yaoyorozu
Momo’s Suit Has Some Controversial Features
Momo Yaoyorozu is Class 1-A’s secondary class representative. To complement her Creation Quirk, which allows her to create things using her own body’s cells, she wears a red leotard as her hero attire.

Many members of Class 1-A made it into the hero ranking. Here are their rankings in MHA.
She may not have additional features on her costume since she has the ability to create them herself, yet to help her do this, she carries a book around with her. This does seem very impractical, given the nature of the series’ battles. However, as well as being top of the class intellectually and having a prominent role in class decisions, the ‘look’ of the book complements her cleverness and quick-thinking nature, and even her favorite hobby: reading.
15
Mina Ashido
Mina’s Outfit Isn’t Everyone’s Favorite
Matching her peppy personality, Mina Ashido’s hero outfit is vibrant and colorful, with wacky, almost toxic-looking colors reflecting how potentially lethal her Acid Quirk can be. What’s more, she can use her acid to slide around thanks to nifty holes in her shoes whilst protecting her clothing from it.
It may not be technically advanced or even what one would think of when hearing the words ‘hero suit,’ but Mina’s unique style has become iconic and would be a fun cosplay outfit for MHA fans.
14
Fumikage Tokoyami
Tokoyami’s Outfit Was Built Around His Quirk
Tokoyami’s Dark Shadow Quirk is very unique, seeing as it’s completely detached from his actual body. In order to make the most of his Quirk and to prevent anyone from knowing his weakness, Tokoyami must keep his shadow in the dark as much as possible.
As for his hero attire, Tokoyami wraps himself in a plain black robe, which both reflects his secretive nature and shadowy Quirk. Under the robe, he wears plain black clothes. All this is designed to make Dark Shadow stronger since it thrives in darkness but is weaker in light.
13
Mezo Shoji
This Gentle Giant’s Suit Subtly Reflects His Personality
Shoji stands out among Class 1-A for his iconic Dupli-arms Quirk. He may look intimidating, but Shoji is known for his calm and friendly personality. This is reflected in him having a simple costume with a relatively plain design, the small circles possibly representing eyes, which complements his unique Quirk.
The most notable aspect of Shoji’s suit is its color: blue. This calm and peaceful color reflects his calm and friendly nature, as well as being incredibly fitting for the character who was awarded the Imamura Peace Prize years later.
12
Mashirao Ojiro
Ojiro’s Plain Suit Matches His Unique Strengths
Another minor character, Ojiro, is known for both his unique Tail Quirk, which gives him a unique kind of strength, and for not wanting to stand out. The latter is reflected in his plain white costume, which looks like karate attire.
His clothing is lightweight and loose-fitting, meaning it complements his superb martial arts abilities. Overall, the plain aesthetic fits everything about his character perfectly.
11
Kyoka Jiro
Jiro’s Outfit Oozes A Strong Punk Rock Vibe
Jiro is known as Class 1-A’s main music lover, and her passion for music is reflected in her apparel. Her costume may just look like regular and quite plain clothing, but it’s equipped with some handy features that overall give her a punk rock vibe.
Jiro’s boots contain stereos, and she wears amplifiers on her wrists, both of which let her use her Quirk to create her unique attacks. Overall, Jiro’s cool costume appeals to many fans and would make simple yet fun cosplay.
10
Denki Kaminari
Denki’s Clothing Perfectly Reflects What He’s About
Kaminari’s hero outfit consists of casual-looking clothes, which may seem less interesting than many of his fellow classmates’ hero costumes. However, this laid-back urban vibe fits both his personality and Electricity Quirk perfectly. His jacket has lightning bolt symbols on it, which both look cool and reflect his unique powers.
He later acquires sharpshooting gear, the tech he wears on his person, which helps him use his Quirk to more potential. The overall laid-back vibe of his hero suit would appeal to many MHA fans for a great and relatively easy cosplay outfit, too.
9
Yuga Aoyama
This Suit Just “Can’t Stop Twinkling”
Aoyama immediately stands out for having the flashiest costume out of his classmates, with a ‘knight’ aesthetic and regal colors. The overall color palette reflects the iconic purple color of his navel laser. The red visor creates an interesting pop of color but is also functional and protects his eyes from the laser.
Aoyama is one of the few members of Class 1-A to wear a cape. This is an overall well-designed costume reflecting his grandeur of personality as well as his Quirk.
8
Shoto Todoroki
To Many Fans, Shoto’s Attire Is Surprisingly Bland
Shoto Todoroki started out in season one with a hero costume that completely concealed his fire powers. However, after Deku’s influence on him and resolving his internal conflict, he learns to accept and use his fire alongside his ice powers. Therefore, Todoroki’s apparel changed to his plain yet somehow iconic blue suit.
The smart shade of blue and the fact it’s not kitted out with any tech or other colors reflects his calm and levelheaded personality, though it doesn’t really reflect either side of his incredible power.
7
Eijiro Kirishima
Bold And Fierce Like Kirishima Himself
Later known as ‘Red Riot,’ Kirishima is a character with a strong sense of justice, and his hero costume reflects this perfectly. As well as being tailored to his desire to be “very manly,” the black and red colors match his determined spirit, courage, and chivalry, as well as making him look fierce to any villain he would face.
Despite the seemingly antagonistic color scheme, Kirishima’s outfit is heroic through and through and demonstrates he’s not afraid to show how fierce an opponent he can be. All these aspects fit “Red Riot” to a T.
6
Hanta Sero
Hanta’s Suit Is More Than His Minor Status
Despite being one of Class 1 A’s more minor members, Hanta Sero has a distinct costume one would associate with a typical hero. With a striking yellow and black color scheme, his costume stands out, especially when compared to those of other minor characters in the class.

What’s more, Sero’s outfit reflects his Tape Quirk perfectly, with the headgear and shoulder pads matching the shape of sellotape dispensers. These features make his suit on par with the more prominent members of his class.
5
Tsuyu Asui
The Fan-Favorite Frog Girl Has A Fan-Favorite Suit
One of the series’ most beloved female characters, Tsuyu Asui, stands out as iconic for both her Frog Quirk and beloved Hero suit. The bright green apparel makes her immediately iconic among her classmates, but her suit also accurately reflects her Quirk, arguably the most so out of the others in her class.
Tsu’s shoes look like frogs’ webbed feet, and she wears headgear, which blatantly looks like frogs’ eyes. What’s more, the overall aesthetic of her suit has a wetsuit-type look to it, reflecting a frog’s amphibian nature.
4
Tenya Iida
Iida Has A Hero Suit That Embodies Many Elements Of His Personality
Tenya Iida’s hero suit is one of the most popular among the fanbase and perfectly captures the essence of his power. His Engine Quirk lets him accelerate at super-fast speeds, and thus, his suit makes him look like a race car. The armor Iida wears also shows his sense of maturity and influence, especially as he’s the leader of Class 1-A.
The armor may seem bulky, but it perfectly reflects another side of his character, too: his diligence towards the rules and his chivalrous demeanor. As such, since he’s the ideal role model for his class, Iida has a brilliantly designed outfit to showcase the power he holds both in class and on the battlefield.
3
Ochaco Uraraka
Uraraka’s Outfit Just Perfectly Captures The Essence Of Who She Is
Even though Uraraka admits she should’ve been more specific about what she wanted for her hero suit, she ended up with one that’s instantly recognizable and has thus become beloved by fans. Ochaco Uraraka’s hero outfit has a very iconic look, with a soft pink color palette reflecting her kind heart. The rounded shapes highlight her ability to float, as well as her friendly and approachable personality.
Her suit’s astronaut vibe reflects her antigravity powers more so, as well as featuring some functional things to help her combat the side effects of her Quirk. All these reasons make Uraraka’s suit one of the most beloved hero costumes in MHA.
2
Izuku Midoriya
Izuku’s Attire Is Beloved And Adapts To Suit The Tone Of The Series
As the series’ protagonist, Izuku “Deku” Midoriya’s hero costume has seen the most variation out of every other hero suit throughout the series. He first modeled his costume on the iconic look of All Might but has since, like his Quirk One For All, made his outfit his own. The many variations of Deku’s hero apparel also reflect his growth in strength and knowledge as he learns more about his role as the ninth wielder of One For All.
The overall dark green and black color palette complements Deku’s hair and eye color, and as the overall tone of the series gets darker, so does his apparel. Deku’s iconic support items, such as his gloves and iron soles, help him channel the power of One For All into his attacks. Deku is unique in that his attire changes in line with the series’ events and his own growth in power.
1
Katsuki Bakugo
Katsuki’s Suit Immediately Became A Fan Favorite And Has Remained Iconic Ever Since
U.A High’s famous hothead, Katsuki Bakugo, has a fan-favorite hero costume that is as visually striking as it is functional. With bold color contrast between orange and black reflecting his Explosion Quirk, Bakugo also carries his iconic gauntlets on his arms, which store up his sweat, which he then unleashes for deadly attacks. As such, his suit is so recognizable and just oozes a sense of intimidation, which maybe isn’t how a typical hero ‘should’ look. But when has Katsuki Bakugo ever been a typical hero?
With the way Bakugo’s Quirk works, his suit also has a winter variant, which allows him to keep sweating in cold weather. With a striking design and many features, this costume is as fierce and aggressive as Bakugo himself and has become extremely iconic among the many heroes in the series, making it one of the best hero suits in MHA.
