Phoebe Traces Overview And Priority
Phoebe might have a brand new playstyle, but her kit is very simple to understand. However, there are a few aspects of her kit that you need to get used to at first before you can play her optimally.
Here’s a rundown of Phoebe’s kit which will help you use her in end-game content without much trouble:
- Phoebe’s kit primarily revolves around two states: Absolution and Confession. You can switch to any one of these states by either holding the Normal Attack button for Absolution or the Skill button for Confession.
- You have a prayer gauge right below your Forte bar which fills up passively and once it’s full you can change to the two phases mentioned above.
- The Absolution state helps increase Phoebe’s personal damage and will be crucial if you want to see big numbers. However, Confession state lets you stack Spectro Frazzle on enemies and thereby focus on the damage over time part of her kit.
- Once your Outro Skill is activated, if you are in the Absolution state, you receive damage amplification. However, if you are in Confession state, the Spectro RES of the enemy is reduced and Spectro Frazzle is amplified.
Phoebe’s Resonance Liberation is also affected by the two states. When in Absolution you deal massive damage to enemies. However, when in Confession state, the effect of Spectro Frazzle is amplified.
When playing Phoebe, your goal will be to use your skills until your Prayer bar is filled up. Once that happens, depending on the situation, you can change between Absolution or Confession state. Additionally, you cannot have both those states at the same time, so you have to make the choice while clearing the various end-game content.
In terms of leveling priority, the order you should be focusing is as follows: Forte Circuit > Resonance Skill > Resonance Liberation. You can also level up the rest of her kit, but they aren’t as necessary since her damage primarily comes from Forte Circuit and Resonance Skill.
