Pokermon
I Choose You!
Balatro will always be a card game to test your skills and luck. It’s normal to experience a few losses while you get the hang of things, and as a result, you’ll get to know the cards pretty well. But who wants to stare at the same card game after game? Let’s change things up with some Pokermon!
If the name isn’t apparent, Pokermon transforms various cards in the decks into Pokemon cards. While Pokemon dominates its card games, it’s always fun to glimpse it in a different setting.
It includes many Pokemon from Generation 1, with all their vibrant sprite art and backgrounds to make them pop. Over 200 Jokers have been thrown into the mix alongside them to add even more flair to your deck.

Mika’s Mod Collection
More Cards And Chaos
The great thing about popular games that are enjoyable for all kinds of players is that they inspire people to create and add to their things. There are mods out there where modders proudly slap their name on them to show off their style and interests. For Balatro, Mika stepped up to the plate to put her spin on the game.
Mika’s Mod Collection shows that Mika has spent a lot of time with Balatro, and she’s decided to expand it. Once installed, Balatro will receive a bundle of new decks and Jokers, a couple of new Tarot Cards, and a Spectral Card. Several new cards have custom artwork by Grassy and rank from Common to Legendary. Study their effects and see if you can dominate the game with your new deck.

Balatro Plus
It’s More Of Balatro
Much like expansions with a personal touch, some want to make more of what is already a great game. Balatro has solid gameplay that you can pick up quickly but will give you a run for your theoretical money as you try to win. Though, if you’re looking for more to play and ways to increase the RNG, this modder is there.
Balatro Plus can be called a content pack, changing how the game plays with its additions. It has the usual expansions with new Decks and Jokers but decides to go further with Consumables, Tags, and extra Boss Blinds. It’s a nice add-on for the base game that will make you want to practice it to adapt to the expanded pool of elements. It truly is Balatro… plus more!

Stickers Always Shown
See What’s Clearly Stuck
In Balatro, collectibles play a significant role in completing and having fun; you can collect playing cards and amass 1200 stickers acquired by winning a stake with each joker card. As fun as this sounds, you cannot see these stickers when playing the game; they are only in the collection menu, so this mod changes that.
With Stickers Always Shown, you’ll see the number of stickers you’ve collected per joker associated with a win, making the game feel much more rewarding and satisfying. Not only do play cards look more appealing (especially if they are holographic or polychrome variations), but you can now take stock of all the progress you’ve made in-game without having to exit the main menu and view the collection page.
7
Deck Jokers
More Jokers To Draw
Though Balatro has 150 jokers, players who have played the game to death may already be too familiar with what to expect from shop re-rolls. If you’re ready to spice things up, the Deck Jokers mod will be a great treat, as it adds five new jokers, new booster packs, and two new spectral cards.

This mod also creates the all-new green seal, prioritizing playing cards when being drawn out of the deck. Perhaps this mod’s most significant overhaul feature is the Joker Deck, which gives you +2 to your hand size but -2 to your Joker hand size, making things particularly interesting for builds that revolve entirely around Joker mixing.
6
Fancy Decks
Add Some Class To Your Cards
Fancy Decks is a simple texture overhaul that makes the backs of your playing cards look nicer and more elaborate. Balatro has 15 decks in total, but after playing for so many hours, it can feel a little tired looking at the same patterns repeatedly, so if you want to make your playing cards look a lot fancier, this mod is easy to install. It will add a lot more color to your Balatro runs.
Part of the fun of Balatro is unlocking as many things as possible, so it’s a shame that you can’t unlock any skins for your playing decks. Use the Fancy Decks mod to give your Plasma and Red decks a spruced-up feel.

Uncap Hermit
Rolling In Money
Money is one of the most essential mechanics and resources in Balatro, and a significant aspect of getting good at the game is learning how to manage cash. This includes how to acquire it and when to spend it. One of the most reliable ways to get quick cash for re-rolls or vouchers is the Hermit tarot card, which doubles your current cash to $20. With the Uncap Hermit mod, you can double your money no matter the value.
Though this is a potentially game-breaking mod, it can be a fun way to experiment with Balatro for players who want to see just how far they can get in a run by purchasing as many re-rolls or packs as possible. It can also make Tarot metas a lot more interesting.
4
Always Show Seed
See Those Seeds
Like any roguelike, seeds play a significant role in Balatro for players who are especially dedicated to practicing the game nonstop; they allow you to share runs with other players so they can experience unique builds and learn how their mechanics interact. You only gain access to the seed code for non-seeded runs after the run is over, but this mod changes that.

Balatro and Slay the Spire are two titans of the deckbuilding roguelike genre, but which game is better?
Always Show Seed will always give you access to the seed of the run, even in the middle of it, allowing you to copy the seed if you have stumbled upon a great and lucky combination of cards. This will make it easier for you to practice with lucky runs and experiment with different combinations of purchases or re-rolls, helping you better figure out the most optimized strategies and card combinations.
3
ScoreMod
Keep Track Of Winnings
Calculating massive scores in Balatro in your head in the heat of the moment is always a chore, but with ScoreMod, you can now access an automatic calculator that will tell you the score of the hand you’ve selected. The score is conveniently located above your chips and mult counters, so you’ll always know if a hand will meet the blind requirements.
This mod is great for players deciding if a level three flush is better than a level two whole house. More impressively, this mod also considers RNG factors and probability jokers, updating the score every half second to show you all potential score outcomes based on the roll of the dice associated with lucky jokers.
2
Choose First Shop Joker
Get The Joker At The Door
Ante one is vital for a Balatro run, especially at higher stakes, and based on how much money and interest you have or the blind skips you take for the tags, it can significantly impact deciding whether you survive the next couple of antes. Getting a good early joker is especially key in Balatro, and this mod taps into that concept.
With Choose First Shop Joker, you can head to your Joker collection page, select one card with F4, and it will always appear in the first shop of any run. This is a good way to boost yourself in more complex difficulties, and it can be a fun way to experiment with rarer jokers that are hard to come across, even in longer runs.
1
Hidden Aces Edition
Sharpen Your Edges
Hidden Aces is by far the most sophisticated Balatro mod available today, and a massive game overhaul that completely changes Balatro as you know it. Though some players may be turned off by how much easier the game becomes, there’s no denying how much it also adds to rules and mechanics.
Hidden Aces can be seen as a massive rebalancing of the game’s core systems; skip blind tags give more money, you start with more discards, edition cards give more chips and mult, and tarot cards have been buffed. If you play Balatro for the RNG and challenge, then this mod may not be for you, but if you want to experience the same high-octane luck-of-the-draw game but with better odds in your favor, this is a fantastic way to play the game.
