Astro Bot DLC Release Times and Dates

No video game released in 2024 received a higher OpenCritic rating than eventual Game of the Year winner Astro Bot. Team Asobi’s charming yet challenging platformer proved to be a huge hit with both critics and players alike when it was released back in early September, which is perhaps why the news that Astro Bot would be receiving a bunch of free DLC was met with such jubilation among the gaming community.

All 190 VIP Bots in Astro Bot (Every PlayStation Character Cameo)

Most of the Astro Bot cameo characters are pretty easy to identify, but there are a few VIP Bots who are obscure and thus can be difficult to place.

The first wave of Astro Bot DLC consisted of five speedrun stages, each of which introduced two new VIP bots. There was then a festive-themed DLC stage which ushered in several more Cameo Bots, including Spider-Man and Miles Morales. For those looking forward to finding out more about the most recent batch of free speedrunning stages, which were announced in February of 2025, the following Astro Bot DLC release schedule should prove useful.

Astro Bot DLC Release Schedule

The second batch of Astro Bot speedrunning stages will be released weekly between February 13 and March 13, going live every Thursday at 6:00 am PT. Unlike a lot of other modern releases, the Astro Bot DLC will drop at the same time for everyone, so release times for those living in other regions will vary (see below).
