The world of Avowed gives a post-apocalyptic vibe due to the onset of the Dreamscourge in The Living Lands, but you can still find quite a few people in it when you visit the settlements on the map of each area. Shantytown is one such settlement right outside Paradis.

As soon as you enter this settlement, you’ll find an NPC giving you the Lost Suoles side quests where you have to retrieve four Suolenets from the bird nests high up in the area, and here’s how you can do it.
How To Get Every Suolenet
The Suolenets are already present around Shantytown even before you take this quest, so you might already find them if you start exploring first. However, once you take the quest, their locations are marked on the map to make it a little easier. Here’s the path you can follow to easily get all four:

Right after taking the quest, enter the tavern behind the quest-giver and follow the stairs going up. Open the door you find there and turn right to see the first Suolenet nearby. Simply climb up and get it.

After you get the first one, look in the eastern direction (you can tell the direction you’re looking at by the icons around your minimap. The biggest icon symbolizes the north direction). Make the jump across the street here and break a wall to get the second item.

For the third one, head back to the door that you opened in the building and turn left this time (south) to climb a tilted roof. Go across this roof and jump to the door you see to your right. Exit this building from the other door and you’ll find this on your left.
Once you’ve collected all the fragments, you can return to Miteno and do one of the following:
- Give him the Suolenets without asking for payment from the first option and he’ll offer to give you his Enchanted Suolenet. This accessory can increase the currency you get when you pick some up, which is highly useful in the early game.
- Alternatively, you can either ask for payment in the first option or reject his Suolenet to get the Celestial Loop ring and 100 currency. This one increases your resistance to Fire and Frost accumulation, which is decent for late-game.
