Developed by Thomas van den Berg in collaboration with Coatsink, Kingdom Two Crowns is the third installment in the award-winning Kingdom series of side-scrolling strategy games. Xbox Game Pass Reportedly Getting Another Call of Duty Soon

A classic and widely beloved Call of Duty title is reportedly coming to the Xbox Game Pass content catalog in just a few months.

Xbox Game Pass users can start playing the 2018 strategy title as part of their subscriptions starting today, February 13. Since Kingdom Two Crowns is not a day-one release, it’s available across all tiers of the service, except for the infrequently updated Xbox Game Pass Core. While this is the first time that the game joined Microsoft’s content library, it was already briefly available via Xbox Games with Gold between November and December 2021. Microsoft eventually discontinued its freebie program in September 2023, when it replaced it with Xbox Game Pass Core.

A few DLC packs introducing new Kingdom Two Crowns islands and other content were released over the years. The most recent of them is Call of Olympus, which launched in October 2024. As per usual, Xbox Game Pass members only get access to the base game as part of their subscriptions, and can optionally purchase any DLC content separately. Kingdom Two Crowns is likely to stay on Xbox Game Pass for at least a year.

Moving forward, Microsoft’s subscription service has just one more confirmed title for this month, with Avowed being scheduled to reach Xbox Game Pass on February 18. This day-one title is poised to be the biggest XGP release of the month, not least because it’s the first RPG from the genre veterans at Obsidian Entertainment since the 2019 The Outer Worlds. The second wave of February 2025 Xbox Game Pass releases is likely to be announced on February 18, just a few hours before Avowed makes its way to the service.
