WWE 2K25‘s covers featuring Roman Reigns and The Bloodline, and The Undertaker give off the vibe that the next installment is all about legacy. Both parties have made their marks in WWE, earning them the recognition of being cultural icons in their own rights. However, WWE 2K25 surely has more surprises in store, be it in the base game or future DLCs, and one future Hall of Famer deserves to get his flowers in this installment.

Recently, it was revealed that WWE CCO Paul Levesque, also known as the wrestler Triple H, is the first inductee into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class. With an impressive wrestling career spanning 30 years, Triple H has made significant waves in the business, from facing some of the best wrestlers and becoming a 14-time world champion, to getting into mischief with fellow D-Generation X member and best friend Shawn Michaels, to becoming an influential leader in the WWE locker room. It’s only right that WWE 2K25 pays homage to “The Game” through special content that celebrates his legacy, giving fans of the King of Kings more to enjoy beyond playing as Triple H in MyGM Mode.

Triple H started training in professional wrestling in 1992, and made his World Championship Wrestling (WCW) debut in 1994 and WWE (then-WWF) a year later. Since then, he has been through different identities and gimmicks, like Jean-Paul Levesque and Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and formed memorable alliances as part of factions like D-Generation X and Evolution. Amid all these, Triple H also won multiple titles, including world championships.

After retiring in 2022 and taking up an executive role in WWE, fans and wrestlers alike always remember Triple H’s greatest moments, singing their praises to one of the greatest stars to have graced the ring. WWE 2K players also recreate some of Triple H’s standout looks regularly. Now that he’s finally a WWE Hall of Fame inductee, WWE 2K25 has the perfect opportunity to bring Triple H’s best moments to life, for all fans to reminisce over.

Similar to WWE 2K24‘s “40 years of WrestleMania” showcase, Triple H deserves to have his own mode in WWE 2K25, where players can acquire different attires based on his many gimmicks. It should allow fans to play through his unforgettable matches and rivalries, such as his 2003 World Heavyweight Championship match against Shawn Michaels and his No Holds Barred match against The Undertaker. It would also be especially cool if they could simulate Triple H matches with some of his former stablemates, who are legends in their own right as well.

  • D-Generation X: Shawn Michaels, Chyna, X-Pac, Road Dogg, and Billy Gunn
  • Evolution: Randy Orton, Batista, and Ric Flair
  • The Corporate Ministry: The Undertaker, Shane McMahon, Faarooq, Bradshaw, Chyna, and more.

WWE 2K has had a number standout showcases in the past, featuring iconic matches and a dream match with the inductees of that year. WWE 2K24‘s Showcase Mode also emulated this experience, including newer matches, such as Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair during WrestleMania 23. So, there’s no stopping WWE 2K25 from following suit by releasing one that honors Triple H and the rest of the Class of 2025.

Right now, what is known is that WWE 2K25‘s Showcase Mode features the ability to Relive, Change, and Create History, putting the spotlight on The Bloodline’s matches. Still, it would be great to see a smaller, second showcase centered around Triple H, potentially coming in the form of DLC so that more content is added to the game beyond new wrestlers. Regardless, fans have good reason to be excited, as Game Rant’s early preview of WWE 2K25 indicated that the new entry shows a lot of promise with its improved mechanics and graphics.
