The main quest line of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 includes a number of pivotal moments that drastically affect the state of medieval Bohemia, and players might find themselves locked out of certain quests once they reach these stages.
Once a player reaches a point of no return, they’ll be given the option to either go ahead with the main quest, or put it aside in the meantime. Given how limited Saviour Schnapps are in KCD2, knowing when and where these points in the story are can do a lot of favors for your patience and playtime. Here are the four main points of no return in the game.

Points of No Return in KCD2
There are several points of no return in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and while not all of them will directly lead to the cancellation or disqualification of previous quests, they do involve long story mission sequences where players are expected to lock in and focus on an objective due out of urgency. While doing these missions, you won’t be able to fast travel away or pass the time as you would normally.

Trosky Points of No Return
There are two ways to complete the Wedding Crashers quest in KCD2: you can either help the Tachov blacksmith or go to the Miller in Lower Semine in hopes of getting an invitation to young lord Semine’s wedding. If you do one of these paths and immediately head to the wedding after, you won’t be able to experience the other path without loading a save. Moreover, completing this quest immediately thrusts you into For Whom The Bell Tolls, which will further prevent you from leaving the quest area.
Meanwhile, the For Victory quest will set you on a long chain events that culminates in Storms. If you start this quest, you won’t be able to proceed with the Demons of Trosky and Bad Blood quests. Once you speak with Hans Capon at the end of For Victory, you’ll get a message warning you to finish any business you’ve left unattended.
For completionists, consider doing every sidequest and task before starting For Victory. Some of them will get cancelled or be considered as failures once you reach Kuttenberg.
Kuttenberg Points of No Return
The King’s Gambit is similar to the For Whom The Bell Tolls quest in KCD2. Players will be confined within the mission area, and failure will result in consequences. Starting this quest won’t cancel any sidequests you have going in the background, but you won’t be able to freely exit the premises of The King’s Gambit until you complete the main objective.
Meanwhile, the Oratores quest serves as a major point of no return, like For Victory. Doing this quest will automatically fail several quests, including Bellatores, The Thunderstone, and The White Roebuck, though you will get a warning message once you reach this point. More quests might get canceled once you proceed with Oratores — if you’re not sure if a quest will automatically fail after this point of no return, save your game before proceeding.
