Hazelight Studios and Electronic Arts have released a new story trailer for the genre-bending Split Fiction during Sony’s February State of Play showcase. In addition to Split Fiction‘s spot, the PlayStation event also provided a fresh look at Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds, more gameplay details for Borderlands 4, and the pre-order announcement for the Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny remaster, which enhances the PS2 game with new controls and HD graphics.
Split Fiction is a co-op multiplayer coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles, from director Josef Fares. The innovative experience follows two writers, Zoe and Mio, who become trapped inside their own works of fiction, and players can assume control of either character while working together to navigate the science-fiction and fantasy worlds filled with exciting challenges.
