Pokemon GO: Beloved Buddies – All Featured Pokemon & Event Bonuses

With every new season that comes and passes as part of Pokemon GO’s live-service format, a variety of different in-game celebrations, opportunities, and events are made available to players around the world. Such events can range from more common, recurring titles such as Spotlight Hour, Community Day, Raid Day, and Max Mondays. However, there is also often a series of one-off events that mark celebrations or arrivals of certain monsters, Types, or themed lineups.

One such event is the Beloved Buddies event, taking place during the February section of the Dual Destiny Season. This event not only marks the in-game debut of Dhelmise, the Sea Creeper Pokemon but also includes a variety of different featured Pokemon that Trainers can encounter and obtain through various methods. Lastly, there is also a small selection of event bonuses that players can make the most of during this time. All Featured Pokemon & Event Bonuses in Pokemon GO’s Beloved Buddies Event

The Beloved Buddies event is available for players to take part in Pokemon GO between the dates of February 11, 2025, at 10 AM local time, and February 15, 2025, at 8 PM local time. During these dates, players will have access to three additional Bonuses to earn extra rewards, XP, or give themselves an advantage in specific tasks such as catching, collecting, and evolving. These bonuses include extended Lure Module time, bonus Stardust for capturing specific Pokemon specimens, and a flat general 2x XP boost for any Pokemon caught throughout the event.

• 2x XP for catching Pokemon
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for one hour
• 500 Additional Stardust for catching the following Pokemon: Diglett, Slowpoke, Dunsparce, Shellder, Fomantis, Cutiefly

Furthermore, Beloved Buddies also featured a numerous selection of different Pokemon species, some of which match the Water-type / sea theme like Dhelmise. These Pokemon can all be encountered and obtained through a variety of different methods, and many of them can also be encountered in shiny variants if Trainers are lucky.
