Mizuki is an on-field Anemo driver, focusing on triggering Swirl reactions and subsequent chain reactions. As a result, her best team compositions closely resemble those where Sucrose is typically used as the main Anemo driver. Furina is one of Mizuki’s best teammates and appears in many of her optimal teams.

Furina’s off-field Hydro application does not require Normal Attacks, making her a perfect fit. Additionally, the healing bonus from Furina’s Fanfare stacks allows Mizuki to overheal herself by picking up the snack spawns from her burst. One of Mizuki’s strongest team compositions is the Electro-Charged (Taser) team, where she is paired with Furina, Fischl, and an additional Electro unit like Ororon.

This team takes advantage of Mizuki’s consistent Swirl application to spread Electro and Hydro damage efficiently. Mizuki also excels in Aggravate teams, where she is paired with two off-field Electro characters, such as Yae Miko and Fischl, who trigger Aggravate themselves. Mizuki’s Electro Swirls can further amplify this damage.

Alternatively, by replacing one of the Electro units with an off-field Hydro unit, Mizuki can also function in a Hyperbloom team. Since her Electro Swirls can hit Dendro Cores, a full Elemental Mastery Mizuki will generate high-damage Hyperbloom reactions.

Another unique team composition for Mizuki is a Burning team, where she focuses on triggering Pyro Swirls to maintain the Burning reaction.
