Yumemizuki Mizuki is a 5-star Anemo Catalyst character in Genshin Impact that was released in version 5.4, the first phase banner. She shines as a support-focused Anemo Catalyst who enhances Swirl reactions, provides mobility, and offers a mix of healing and AoE damage. Her Dreamdrifter state allows for unique movement-based gameplay, while her Elemental Burst ensures continuous crowd control and healing.
In this guide, we will detail Yumemizuki Mizuki, talk about her kit, find out her best artifacts and build, and more about Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact Yumemizuki Mizuki Guide: Kit Explained
Normal Attack: Pure Heart, Pure Dreams | Mizuki’s Normal Attack consists of up to three hits, all dealing with Anemo damage. Since she is a Catalyst user, all of her attacks are infused with Anemo by default, making her a reliable source of elemental applications. |
Elemental Skill: Aisa Utamakura Pilgrimage | Her Elemental Skill allows her to enter the Dreamdrifter state, dealing periodic AoE Anemo damage. This state makes her highly mobile, as she continuously drifts forward and can adjust her movement as needed. While Dreamdrifter is active, she enhances Swirl damage for nearby teammates. Additionally, Dreamdrifter increases the pick-up range of Yumemi Style Special Snacks, which are generated by her Elemental Burst. . |
Elemental Burst: Anraku Secret Spring Therapy | Her Elemental Burst creates a powerful AoE Anemo attack that pulls in enemies and objects while summoning a Mini Baku companion. This creature follows the active character and periodically spawns Yumemi-style Special Snacks. These Snacks serve two functions: if a character with more than 70% HP picks one up, it explodes and deals AoE Anemo damage. However, if the character’s HP is below 70%, the Snack heals them based on Mizuki’s Elemental Mastery. |

Bright Moon’s Restless Voice | Bright Moon’s Restless Voice extends Dreamdrifter’s duration whenever Mizuki triggers Swirl, rewarding players who actively use her to spread elemental reactions. This makes her particularly effective in reaction-heavy team compositions. |
Thoughts by Day Bring Dreams by Night | Thoughts by Day Bring Dreams by Night boosts Mizuki’s Elemental Mastery when her allies trigger Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro reactions while she is in the Dreamdrifter state. This further increases her Swirl effectiveness and healing potential. |
All Ailments Banished | All Ailments Banished improves the effectiveness of healing food for the entire team, making her a useful addition for teams that frequently rely on consumable healing. This effect is even stronger for the Traveler, guaranteeing additional healing from food items. |
Genshin Impact Yumemizuki Mizuki Build Guide: Constellations
In this section, we will break down the constellations for Yumemizuki Mizuki in Genshin Impact.
C1 | This constellation makes Mizuki an extremely powerful reaction amplifier, greatly boosting the damage output of Swirl reactions. If she is built with high Elemental Mastery, this can lead to devastating chain reactions, especially in teams that frequently trigger Swirl. |
C2 | This constellation enhances her team buffing potential, making her an amazing support unit for reaction-based DPS characters. Since this buff scales with Mizuki’s Elemental Mastery, it further incentivizes building her for Swirl reactions rather than raw attack stats. |
C3 | Elemental skill increased by 3 levels. |
C4 | This makes Mizuki’s Elemental Burst much more efficient, reducing her Energy Recharge needs while also ensuring consistent healing and damage. It makes her an even better sustain-support hybrid, allowing her to keep up her healing while increasing Swirl uptime. |
C5 | Elemental burst increased by 3 levels. |
C6 | This is one of Mizuki’s strongest constellations. While she is in the Dreamdrifter state, all Swirl reactions caused by nearby party members can now CRIT, with a fixed CRIT Rate of 30% and CRIT DMG of 100%. |
As far as Constellations go, Yumemizuki Mizuki’s constellations are pretty average at best. If you’re only pulling for a support healer, C1 and C2 are the best stopping points. If you want her to deal more damage, C6 is a powerful but optional luxury. In order of best to least best constellation: C1>C2>C6>C4>C5>C3

Best Team Comps for Yumemizuki Mizuki in Genshin Impact
Mizuki is an on-field Anemo driver, focusing on triggering Swirl reactions and subsequent chain reactions. As a result, her best team compositions closely resemble those where Sucrose is typically used as the main Anemo driver. Furina is one of Mizuki’s best teammates and appears in many of her optimal teams.
Furina’s off-field Hydro application does not require Normal Attacks, making her a perfect fit. Additionally, the healing bonus from Furina’s Fanfare stacks allows Mizuki to overheal herself by picking up the snack spawns from her burst. One of Mizuki’s strongest team compositions is the Electro-Charged (Taser) team, where she is paired with Furina, Fischl, and an additional Electro unit like Ororon.

This team takes advantage of Mizuki’s consistent Swirl application to spread Electro and Hydro damage efficiently. Mizuki also excels in Aggravate teams, where she is paired with two off-field Electro characters, such as Yae Miko and Fischl, who trigger Aggravate themselves. Mizuki’s Electro Swirls can further amplify this damage.
Alternatively, by replacing one of the Electro units with an off-field Hydro unit, Mizuki can also function in a Hyperbloom team. Since her Electro Swirls can hit Dendro Cores, a full Elemental Mastery Mizuki will generate high-damage Hyperbloom reactions.
Another unique team composition for Mizuki is a Burning team, where she focuses on triggering Pyro Swirls to maintain the Burning reaction. In this setup, Mizuki uses a full Elemental Mastery build to deal substantial Pyro Swirl damage while perpetuating the Burning effect for units like Emilia. These teams focus on triggering multiple elemental reactions simultaneously while Mizuki remains on-field as the primary Swirl driver.
Final Thoughts
Mizuki is a solid on-field Anemo driver, excelling in AoE scenarios where her Swirls and Swirl buffs can shine. However, her greatest strength is also her biggest limitation, her reliance on staying on-field for her skill means she lacks off-field utility and struggles in single-target encounters, which are common in endgame content like the Spiral Abyss.
While her performance is strong in mob-heavy combat situations, these scenarios are unlikely to be consistently featured in future Abyss rotations. Despite this, Mizuki remains a valuable standard five-star unit, offering comfortable gameplay and solid team utility, similar to Sucrose but with a unique playstyle.

Ultimately, while Mizuki isn’t a must-pull unit, her Swirl-focused gameplay, strong constellations, and potential availability through the Standard Banner and future selectors make her a decent long-term investment. She may not surpass the versatility of Jean or Tighnari, but she performs well in her niche. For players who enjoy AoE reaction-based combat or simply like her design, Mizuki can be a fun and effective addition to their roster.
