In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players will come up with a Nomad camp in Lower Semine that will have one of the most challenging questlines in the game. Starting with Miri Fajta, Henry will have to deal with family feuds, betrayal, and even curses.
The Voievode’s Curse is another of these quests that will have players running around doing some shady things, and contains violence against domestic animals, so readers are advised caution. If those yearning to achieve 100% completion of the game want to know how The Voievode’s Curse goes, this guide covers everything they should know to complete the quest real fast.

If you’re having trouble with the Sheep Among Wolves quest in KCD2, this guide can help you through it.
How To Start The Voievode’s Curse
After completing Miri Fajta, the Voievode’s wife, Aranka will call Henry and explain that she needs help, but instead of the usual violence and tracking skills, she is after her Blacksmithing knowledge. Aranka will explain that she thinks the Voievode is cursed, and to protect him from that curse Henry needs to forge a special kind of ceremonial Sabre, and bathe it in the blood of an innocent being.
Jokes about donating blood aside, Aranka will tell Henry to craft the Sabre and then use it to slay a dog, which is quite distasteful. But thankfully, there’s a ‘humane’ solution for the issue. First, she will grant Henry some of the materials for crafting the Sabre, but he still needs to get a Deer Skin. That can be done relatively easily, by hunting or purchasing it from one of the many Hunters or the General Trader in Troskowitz.
How To Forge The Sabre
Now, to forge the Sabre, players need to go to the forge in Tachov. It is important to mention that the players need to complete the Blacksmithing Quest before they are allowed to use the installations and start hammering the iron.
To craft the Rikonaris’ Sabre, Henry will need the following components:
- Charcoal Water x1
- Iron x1
- Fastening Material x1
- Deer Skin x1
- Copper x1
- Steel x2
If they are missing any of the components, the Blacksmith from Tachov sells everything they need, except the Deer Skin. Just in case the crafting process doesn’t go too well, use a Saviour Schnapps to leave a checkpoint and then approach the anvil to Start Smithing.
How To ‘Bless’ The Sable To Complete The Quest
After forging the Sabre, equip it and return to the Nomad’s Camp. Now approach the place where Aranka is but don’t talk to her yet. Instead, look below for a small clearing below the cliff, where a group of rabid dogs are moving around.
The players will need to climb down (moving away from Aranka to the east, down the road, and bordering the cliff) and go slay some wild mutts. Be careful not to kill the dogs with any other weapon but the freshly forged Rikonaris’ Sabre. Then, return to Aranka to claim the rewards: A Nomad’s Hat with a 3rd-grade Quality and the opportunity to learn some Lore, Aclhemy, and Survival from Aranka herself.
