Treasure Maps are a common find in Avowed. You can either find one while exploring the Living Lands, albeit rarely, or purchase it from a merchant. In this case, the Treasure Map – Intimidating Feline Codpiece is bought from a stall near the docks.
After obtaining a treasure map, an image with a short backstory will appear, and it will be added to the Journal tab. To find the treasure hinted at in the treasure map, players need to figure out where the drawn location is.

Treasure Map – Intimidating Feline Codpiece Location In Avowed
Upon arriving at Dawnshore in the Living Lands, The Envoy will meet Kai as the first companion and they can start exploring the docks. From the Claviger’s Landing Beacon, head north toward the merchant stalls and speak with Lynna.
Open her wares and scroll down to purchase the Treasure Map – Intimidating Feline Codpiece. A drawing of a hidden cave entrance will appear and the one who drew it explains that there is armor hidden there. Apparently, the husband bought it before passing away, which is why the wife got rid of it as it brought painful memories.
To find the location of the treasure shown in the Treasure Map – Intimidating Feline Codpiece in Avowed, travel to God’s Gate Beacon located west of the Yellowband Camp in the Southern Embrace, and head east around the camp to eventually reach The Rise. Next, proceed north and climb the rocks to see a hidden path to the right.
Go to the hidden path and walk to the end to find woods blocking the entrance. At this point, players are near the Watcher’s Manor, just north of the Yellowband Camp. Destroy the planks with a weapon in Avowed and open the chest inside to complete the Treasure Map – Intimidating Feline Codpiece side quest.
The Envoy will get valuable items like money alongside the Stelgaer’s Pride +2 medium armor. It’s a Unique armor of common quality but can be upgraded and enhanced later on. It has the following buffs:

It does not have any leg or arm pieces, as you will find the armor on its own. Since it’s still a common quality, the Envoy needs to collect materials, purchase them, or craft them to be able to upgrade the Stelgaer’s Pride +2.
