Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Can You Time Travel

Players could time travel in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, but they might not want to considering the risks. Here is what to know.

This event is a form of Valentine’s Day that is centered around friendship, hugs, and hearts. During the time this event is available, players will be able to get past Hugs and Hearts Day event items within both stores and also get some of the new items by catching Love Bugs. This guide will break down everything players need to know about the events in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

Hugs And Hearts Event Time & Activities

The Hugs and Hearts event in Hello Kitty Island Adventure allows players to collect some brand-new items for the game ahead of Valentine’s Day. The event is currently active (at the time of writing) and will end on February 21, 2025. This event has happened in previous years, but for those who missed it (given that the game wasn’t on Steam or Nintendo Switch until this year), players can get the older items. Players can easily go to the clothing store or furniture store and purchase older items from past Hugs and Hearts events. As for getting new items, players will need to catch Love Bugs.

Players will be able to log onto their game every day and catch only one single Love Bug a day. Luckily, it will only require one for players to select an item from the catalog when they go to turn in their Love Bug. When players first sign on, they will be welcomed to the event and walked through how to get the Love Bugs and the items for it. Players will have the chance to stock up on the items, even getting a few duplicates before the event is over.

Players can already get older Hugs and Hearts items from the shops as well as other event items from Keroppi by giving him friendship beads. So it could be possible to get these items again later on if a player misses some for whatever reason. Only one can be caught per day, and it will be found close to the middle of town crawling around.

Players can get a handful of adorable items during the event, but they will need to make sure they are stocked up on items. Especially things like Candy Cloud, which players can get from Cinnamon Roll, as well as Pink Dye, since these are the most required ones — given everything is pink.
