Sometimes it’s better to explore a vast, open world with a few close friends, rather than go at it alone.
But there are also some treasures that you can only find by using their respective map, and Intimidating Feline Codpiece is one of the first you’ll get. Here’s how you can easily decipher the location of this treasure.
Where To Find The Intimidating Feline Codpiece Map
As mentioned above, you’ll get the Intimidating Feline Codpiece map quite early in the game as long as you explore a bit. Once you arrive at Claviger’s Landing in Dawnshore, you’ll find a few traders nearby. One of these traders will be called Lynna, and she’ll instantly recognize your companion.
After a little chat, you’ll get the option to browse her stocks, and you’ll see this map being sold there for 100 currency. Don’t question why a treasure map is for sale and simply buy the item so that you can get the juicy treasure.
How To Solve Intimidating Feline Codpiece Map
Even after getting this treasure map early, it’s safe to say that you’ll have to wait quite a while to solve it unless you want to exhaust all your resources while doing so. The location you’re looking for is Watcher’s Mirror, which can be found on the northeastern side of Dawnshore, which is also the location for this area’s Ancient Memory.
You can get to this location either after unlocking the beacon to the east of Paradis or the party camp to its northeast. However, to get the treasure, you don’t have to go to the Watcher’s Mirror area but directly below it. This can be done by following a path leading down on the southern side of the place.
The stones on this path have quite a high distance between them, so make sure to take it easy with your jumps or you’ll end up taking damage.
Once you reach the eastern edge while taking the downward path, you can turn left and start heading north. You’ll go through a small arch to find a breakable wooden wall in the front. Your treasure will be past this wall in the form of a golden chest, and here’s what you’ll get from it:
- Stelgaer’s Pride (unique medium armor)
- Nine Golden Scelling
- 11 Silver Fenning
- Vessel Flesh
- Common Mace
The treasure map will be solved as soon as you claim the first item on this list.
