As you’re exploring the map of Avowed, you’ll constantly notice new landmarks all across the area. These locations also have a specific name when you open the map itself, making them easy to distinguish. These landmarks are commonly used when you’re trying to solve treasure maps, so it’s important to remember them.

8 Best Open World Games Where You Travel In A Party
Sometimes it’s better to explore a vast, open world with a few close friends, rather than go at it alone.
Practical Pockets is one such treasure map that you can buy in the Emerald Stairs area. It talks of a Ranger who has hidden his coat with many pockets, with its location drawn below. Here’s how you can easily find this treasure.
Practical Pockets Treasure Chest Location
The Practical Pockets map mentions a ranger, which is the main giveaway of the treasure’s location. In the drawing, you can also see a towering building on the right side with the X mark on the bottom left in a small cave. This towering building is the Rangers Headquarters that you can find on the eastern edge of Emerald Stairs.
If you’ve already been to this area, you should have the beacon to the top left of the headquarters unlocked. Teleport to this and look in the northern direction, which you can see with the icons on the sides of your minimap. You’ll see a cluster of rocks here that you have to go around for a bit.
While you’re going around, you’ll see an opening in front with a bunch of trees in your way. Simply keep running straight into these trees and you’ll reach a small cave at the end. This cave will have a big golden chest containing the reward from this map.
If you haven’t unlocked this area yet, you’ll have to visit it during the Debt of Blood side quest.
After opening the chest, you’ll get the Hjilde’s Handy Hide Light unique Armor. It can reduce the damage you take from Fire, Frost, and Shock while also raising your maximum health.
