Explore exciting and vast new horizons with some of the best open-world games on the Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, the enchantment mechanic in Avowed might not be as detailed as some of the other similar games, but it’s still something important that you can use to get an edge over enemies and win your battles easily.
Where Can You Enchant Your Weapons
As you’re exploring the giant open-world of Avowed, you’ll commonly encounter Adra crystals where you can set up a party camp. You’ll find the first one of these as you go a bit to the north of Claviger’s Landing area, and your map for each area will have a specific counter for all the party camps you can find in it.
Once you’ve encountered one of these camps, you can set it up and find the Enchantment Table in it. This is to the right of the tent where you can upgrade your weapons and armor. Interact with this station to look at all the unique weapons that you can enchant.
How To Enchant Your Weapons
As mentioned above, the enchantment in Avowed is quite limited since the only items you can enchant are unique weapons. You can get these by exploring, doing quests, or buying them from traders. Once you get a unique weapon, you’ll see a couple of special stats on it when you check it in your inventory.
These stats will be written in golden color, and you can only change the top one with the weapon enchantment. When you interact with this weapon while you’re on the station, you’ll see two options that you can select from:
- The first option will be an upgrade to the current special stat that the weapon has.
- The second option will be an alternate special stat that you can use to replace the original one.
Keep in mind that once you go through with an enchantment, you can’t go back.
After selecting the option that suits you the most, you can use some special items to trigger this enchantment. You can easily get these items as you defeat enemies on your exploration or buy them from traders. Each weapon can only be enchanted once.
