During this event, the Hoopa Unbound Raid Day, you will have several opportunities to battle against Hoopa Unbound, rewarding you with the chance of catching this Pokemon and adding it to your collection.

The Hoopa Unbound Raid Day will be taking place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, active during the three hours from 2pm local time to 5pm local time. In addition to Hoopa Unbound availability, there will be several bonuses and features available to benefit from during this event; read on to learn all there is to know about them.

Hoopa Unbound will be the featured Pokemon for this Pokemon Go Raid Day. This means that during this event, you can expect to find Hoopa Unbound in Five-Star Raids throughout the game.

These Raids will occur more frequently than usual, giving you several opportunities to battle against Hoopa Unbound. Following the completion of these Raids, you will be rewarded with a Hoopa Unbound encounter, in addition to other in-game items.

Starting with this event, there will be a Pokemon Go update to Hoopa Confined and Hoopa Unbound.

You will now be able to change Hoopa’s form between Confined and Unbound, even if you have not completed the previously released Mischief Unbound Special Research Story.

Raid Day Bonuses

The standard Raid Day bonuses will be available for all players to benefit from during this event, allowing you to complete more Hoopa Unbound Raids than you usually would be able to. These two bonuses include:

  • Pokemon Gyms will provide you with five additional free Raid Passes (seven in total).
  • You will be able to use up to 20 Remote Raid Passes (Friday, February 14, 2025, at 5pm PST, to Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 8pm PST).

Raid Day Ticket

You will have the option of purchasing a Raid Day Ticket for this event, unlocking additional bonuses and rewards during this event. You will be able to purchase this event ticket at the Pokemon Go in-game shop, costing $5.00 USD.

Those who purchase this Raid Day Ticket will benefit from the following bonuses during the three hours of this event:

  • Eight extra free Raid Passes from Pokemon Gyms (15 Raid Passes in total).
  • Higher likelihood of receiving Rare Candy XL from completing Raid battles.
  • 50 percent more XP when completing Raid battles.
  • Double the Stardust for completing Raid battles.
