The second and final challenge for the Lunar New Year season has arrived at Clash of Clans called the Sky-High Showdown. As the name suggests, it is going to be fuelled with sky-high troops, so understanding the base becomes important before attacking it. If you want to know how to beat the Sky-High Showdown challenge in Clash of Clans, this guide is the way to go.

Introducing the Sky-High Showdown Challenge in Clash of Clans

This new challenge can be said as a showcase of the new skins that have arrived in the game for four Heroes. Minion Prince sadly didn’t get a feature yet. The base is quite tricky, to say the least, but on the fun side it is easy to beat as well when you already have some hints on where to use all the four heroes.

Same as the previous Snake It Back challenge, you will receive extra resources along with 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Resource Potion as rewards if you 3-Star this base.

How to beat the Sky-High Showdown Challenge in Clash of Clans

The Sky High Showdown challenge is designed in a way that makes it clear where each hero should be used to maximize their abilities. To start, deploy an Ice Golem on the left side, followed by the Queen. Activate her ability while using the Magic Mirror to spawn an extra Queen and clear that section of the base.

On the right side, repeat the same process with the Barbarian King, drop an Ice Golem, send in the King, and trigger his ability. His Spiky Ball will bounce through defenses and help to clear the area. For the bottom side, place the Warden near the Invisibility Tower. Once activated, a Fireball will target the Rage Spell Tower, allowing you to use an Earthquake Spell to take down the Archer Towers.

While the Warden may be eliminated the King and Queen will continue pushing through. Now, deploy the Royal Champion near the top-left wall of the Clan Castle. When she reaches the enemy heroes, use a Poison Spell to slow them down and make sure your Royal Champion survive. Honestly, this shouldn’t be an issue since the defending heroes are of lower levels.

But let me say if the Royal Champion falls and you could recover her, do not use the Revive Spell immediately. Instead, wait until she reaches the Town Hall and Monolith, then continuously freeze them to prevent them from activating again. If the Minion Prince appears, freeze him as well.

Only use the Revive Spell after the Royal Champion has completely gone down. The pet Phoenix will bring her back, and if needed, the second Revive Spell can be used to ensure she clears the remaining defenses. If any freeze spells remain, they can be used on Tesla towers or enemy heroes for extra support. With this strategy, securing a three-star victory should be easy.
