Most notably, the season’s battle pass included skins for both Baymax and Godzilla, with the latter also appearing as a boss on the island.
Chapter 6 Season 2 of Fortnite, which will come with changes to the battle royale’s map and loot pool, is set to release on February 21. Epic Games will also launch a new battle pass filled with cosmetics for players to enjoy. A recent teaser showed off a variant of the character Midas, who appears to be making a return in the heist-themed season. It is also rumored that the upcoming pass will feature yet another Peely-inspired skin, though this time he has taken the form of a pickle. While many fans are excited to see the mascot take on a new form, some have expressed the desire to see more original concepts.

A Fortnite player takes to social media to share that they witnessed one of the popular battle royale’s unreleased skins in a public lobby.
In a recent post on Twitter, popular leaker ShiinaBR shared that Fortnite may soon feature a crossover with the Like a Dragon series, formerly known as Yakuza. They claim that both Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima will make their debut in the near future, though they couldn’t specify more than that. The two characters have both played a major role within the gaming franchise, with Kazuma Kiryu often acting as the protagonist within the mainline games. Goro Majima, however, will be featured as the main character of the upcoming title Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima May Be Coming to Fortnite
While many gamers were happy to hear about the possible crossover, some were quick to note the absence of Like a Dragon‘s Ichiban, who has been a protagonist in the franchise’s most recent installments. While Ichiban hasn’t been around as long as Kazuma Kiryu or Goro Majima, he quickly became a fan-favorite after his debut in 2020’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Some players are hopeful that more popular characters from the franchise will be added to the battle royale in the future.
Numerous other collaborations are rumored to be in the works, such as an upcoming crossover between Fortnite and King of the Hill, a popular animated sitcom. A large portion of the community is still hoping to see characters from the anime Demon Slayer come to the game, as it has been teased by leakers since November 2024. With a new season coming soon and even more content on the horizon, many gamers are optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
