Kouji Mori And Studio Are Doing An Excellent Job
The news of Berserk manga releasing two chapters within the same month is absolutely insane. In the last few years, Berserk fans have grown accustomed to waiting for at least a couple of months to read the next chapter. Sometimes the break between chapters is much longer. While it can be frustrating, fans should remember that Kouji Mori and Miura’s assistants are working extremely hard to ensure that Berserk reaches its end.
After Miura’s death, most fans believed that Berserk would never finish, and they would never get the opportunity to see how Guts’ story truly ends. Luckily, Kentarou Miura revealed to Mori how the manga would end, which is how the latter was able to take over. The author of Holyland reiterated that he would only use the content that Miura mentioned.
Berserk Manga Continues To Improve
- Fans were devastated by Miura’s passing
- Mori and Studio Gaga have a fabulous job
Berserk fans were initially reluctant but gradually warmed up to the idea as the chapters released by Mori and Studio Gaga improved in terms of quality. If things continue in the same way, then Berserk fans are in for a treat.
Kentarou Miura’s Berserk started serialization in August 1989 in Monthly Animal House before being moved to Monthly Animal in 1992. Berserk has inspired not just manga and anime series, but also video games. Almost all souls-like games have been inspired by Miura’s dark, twisted world.
Berserk has done well in terms of sales too. According to reports, the manga has sold more than 60 million copies, making it one of the best-selling titles of all time. It is worth noting that Berserk isn’t as accessible as shonen titles, which makes this feat even more incredible. If it were to land on a popular website, Berserk’s fame would unlikely increase tenfold.
Berserk’s next chapter will be released on February 14, 2025.
