In Dawnshore, the first region in Avowed, you can purchase the Treasure Map for the Intimidating Feline Codpiece from The Best Offense, the armor merchant at Claviger’s Landing for 100 Gold. The merchants are located right next to the docks and the fast travel point location there. This leads to the Legendary armor Stelgaer’s Pride, which is a much higher quality level than most gear in Dawnshore. Here’s where you can find the Intimidating Feline Codpiece treasure.
Where to find Intimidating Feline Codpiece
The treasure can be found underneath Watcher’s Mirror, in the northeast part of the map. To find it you will need to head to the Yellowband Camp further south and head to the east to cliff near the river.
Once you reach the cliff, start heading north towards Watcher’s Mirror while staying near the ledge. There will be a small path to follow on the cliff edge moving north.
You will quickly find a small area blocked off by some wooden boards that can be broken by attacking it. Inside is a large chest, which contains Stelgaer’s Pride, alongside some other loot. Stelgaer’s Pride is legendary quality, the highest possible in Avowed. In addition to its base damage reduction stats, the unique item has two bonuses. The first is Bloodied Fury, which casts Barbaric Shout when taking damage greater than 30% of your Maximum Health and the second is Lesser Relentless, which provides 5% Stamina regeneration rate. Unique armor, like Stelgaer’s Pride, can have their passive abilities improved by using monster parts at the enchantment station at camp.
